I really feel like today’s gonna be the day! :O

I feel like it’ll be today or tomorrow.

Good luck to all :)

Got a little jump start on checking my email every few minutes today. First check… 2:53am. Goodnight!

Hello everyone, I’ve been on this thread for ages but I’ve decided to create an account to join in the fun lol. The wait is devastatingly nerve-wrecking : /

I’m applying to Stern as a transfer by the way : )

@tomokoshino

are your credits posted on albert yet?
and does albert have all your things checked off?

mine still says no credits and the application status is blank.

@AnfieldMan

Anfield as in THE Anfield? If so, boooooo!

@coolio – happy early birthday!

Okay. I think you guys are great. Even if we don’t end up going to NYU, we need to keep in touch.

@Lauren: AHH! L.I. is not a borough. Some L.I.ers would like to believe so though.

On the roommate topic, I had a terrible roommate last semester. What I found a lot of people doing, however, is finding a roommate via FB. Like, on the acceptance FB discussion boards, they posted their hobbies, interests, and habits. It helped a lot of people find the perfect roommate to put down on their roommate survey thingy.

In the worst possible, I could commute into NYC. It would terrible, but I could do it.

I’m thinking now that I should have also applied to Baruch College. I didn’t apply, because I didn’t think they offered housing, but they do. :(

@AnfieldMan

YNWA. :)

just called… and asked about the decision date pretending to have to reply another school’s decision, so i need to know the nYU decision soon… the student ambassador said that the majority would be this week, although the decision releasing work could till the end of this month… but the majority would be this week… she can’t guarantee tho…

Oh jeez that means we’re probably not going to hear back today.

Gosh It’s great talking with everyone on here, but me checking this several times daily makes me like 5 times more anxious aobut whether i’m going to get in or not lol.

Boooooooooooooooo, well Bizcollege, that’s why we all make small talk like we have been. Kinda get our minds off of " did I get the email yet"…

I’ve been checking my email all this morning… -____-

haha ya.

Man it’s so much better being 21 now and being in New York. So much more to do here. Only downside is there’s no casinos here. Though I should make a trip to Atlantic City.

well… i’m studying for finals now… so what i’m doing for this… just close the CC threads and the email box… then i wont be so much distracted by the decision and the discussions… lol

yeah i have a feeling today is just another boring day. if the tuesday/thursday thing still stands, perhaps tomorrow will be more interesting… and happy…

sidenote if we dont find out by this week i will be very very upset

I kind of wish I still had finals going on in a perverse way. Since I’m back at home now and none of my local friends have returned from college yet, I’m checking my e-mail way more often than I should for lack of better things to do :'D

I’m so glad that my finals were last week. I’m just now spending my time reading, watching movies, playing games, and checking my inbox obsessively.

Deng I got two weeks of finals to worry about starting this week.

Seriously you guys should find something to work on. I mean relaxing and enjoying yourself is good but I feel like it would be better to do something active. Personally I am working on building up a business, so I put my passion into that. What are you guys passionate about? I’m sure with a week of complete free time you could create something incredible - wether it’s as simple as a huge lego sculpture in your room or a spectacular online resume that you can send to graduate schools or to use to apply to internships/jobs (i created one of these recently).

Just my suggestions guys! Obviously if you are applying to NYU you are probably a driven person.

I was snooping around the Stanford thread out of boredom and found this article ([Rejected From Stanford | Rejected by Stanford? You’ll live - Los Angeles Times](Rejected by Stanford? You'll live)). I guess it goes for any school… life goes on after rejection!
Just in case anyone here gets a letter today or tomorrow or this week… or ever.
