General Comments/Congratulations/Venting/Commiserations,etc: Now let’s just hope I don’t flunk out of Princeton…

bump .

I miss all the ED family.

Me too…the RD family isn’t as close…probably because they’re not as obsessively attached to Princeton.

hey guys! miss you too! :)

Hey!!! Me too!!! I can’t believe that the decisions come out in three weeks… aahhhh! Though I am surprisingly MUCH less nervous than before. That weekend before the ED letters, I was a complete mess… aimlessly wandering around the house… walking into walls. :D

I know jon you’re right! I mean I didn’t even apply ED but I knew everyone pretty much and I don’t really know anybody like that in the RD round.

How well did you “know” them???

As well as you can know someone online. You get to know their characteristics, beliefs, skills, etc. Of course, for the most part you have no idea what the look like, and in some cases no idea whether they’re a guy or a girl :).

In that case, I’m 17, male, and stunningly gorgeous. Psh… who cares about anything else.

Hahaha. I mean…there was a more distinct group. And there were certain “ED family superstars” like pk and ohmisszanna who were posting like 47 things a day or something ridiculous like that. And then there were a bunch of others, like nelle and btlesgirl and kraor and Ernie and jon and JTC and etc. etc. (and like how I’m using and instead of commas?)

Ungst, your comment reminds me of a story a USC admissions officer told us at a scholarship interview. There’s a place on the USC application to list 3 adjectives that describe you, and one kid wrote

 1. Handsome
 2. Brilliant
 3. Modest

I’m sure it wasn’t because of that…but he got in.

it seems like all of us EDers have popped in from time to time, but CC just isn’t the same…:(

well for one thing, there seems to be less of the stress we all shared
