<p>That’s not a rumor. The Class of 2006 is also by far the largest class too because of a baby boom between 1987-1988. Also, a larger percentage of those people are taking the PSAT thanks to better education. This will probably mean the cut-off scores will go up despite a tough curve on the math (80,76,73,71,69, thereabouts).</p>
<p>oh damn it! but it’s all true…06 is very large and very smart! especially those in Massachusetts…cut-off this year ~230.</p>
<p>Well, in my town, it is the class of 05 that overshadows all others academically and the influx of kids is the class of 08.</p>
<p>Class of 06 is largest at our school, and currently reputed to be the smartest. Supposedly, 05 is sports, 07…has nothing, 08 are sluts. Isn’t that nice?</p>
<p>Our sophmore and freshman classes are largest, they’re both larger than 600, and our '05 and '06 are both fewer than 500</p>

<p>there are like 10 seniors who got 1600s in my school. My school isn’t that “awesome” but it is the oldest school in America, founded 1635.</p>
<p>If next year’s applicants are like the class of '06 at my school, it’ll be pretty competitive.</p>

The psat for illinois is probably going from 216 to 218 this year!!</p>
<p>This might not apply to his school, but a LOT of the best prep schools have a substantial number of kids that get extra time on standardized tests due to “disabilities.”</p>
