Official PSAT Score Thread

who can give me the link of the cutoff of each state last year?

it’s in this post

specifically page 2 :)

lol i am from arkansas, dont you kinda wish u were in arkansas?

i dont think psat results are in yet, they might have come later on 2day, but the crazy secretary of the counselor office was like “no we dont have any psat results yet so go away” when i checked this morning…

i’m just glad i’m not in some 222 cutoff state

I was born in Arkansas. I’m Vietnamese too. Don’t see many Asians around there, do you? Because the only Asians for miles were people related to me, lol…

Arkansas has the lowest cut-off, no? I’m jealous. I live in FL… 214! Eh.

I live in delaware, land of the 220 cut off. Using my sophomore scores, I would have made semi in PA (where I lived until 8th grade) but nooo, we move to DE. The public schools are terrible yet our cut off score is so high?!

Massachusetts…oh so dreadful and the PSAT scores haven’t even arrived yet! They said the scores were supposed to be in last week…guidance counselors r liars! Any1 from Massachusetts get their score yet? I’m so curious…

afterthought: if some people already got their scores, how about typing some of the highly debated questions + answers, eh? Ehem, I mean, please!

no, i think its mississippi or something

whats the cutoff for CAl

216 .

Please forgive ne if this is a really obvious question…
How are the 1/4pt deductions rounded? are .5’s rounded up to 1 or down to zero? ie. -2 =-2 or does it =-3?

frankly i’d be happy with a 210, and no i haven’t gotten mine back yet… hopefully it’ll go somethin like this… 80M 66R 64 W or maybe 80 M 69R 61 W… yea that’s plausible haha

the answers and explanations are posted on the collegeboard site, they just don’t list the exact questions

did anyone in Georgia find out if they got merit semifinalist yet?

My counselor said that our PSAT scores would arrive sometime during the holiday break (after Dec. 17) …that’s obnoxious…just like the CR curve.

From reading the percentiles, I think that the cutoffs will go down - hopefully to their class-of-2004 levels.

Does anyone know or have access to the 2002 percentiles…the whole ‘understanding your scores 2002?’ Having that would be very helpful in guesstimating selection indices for this year.

the points are rounded up at .5 and .75

mij which school in atlanta do you go to?

1.3 million in total before: 800k juniors 500 k sophmores. Now 1 million juniors, ??? sophmore
