<p>waitlisted Boston College today. Obviously not getting into Northwestern then…</p>
<p>Don’t be too sure about that, I got rejected both both MIT and WashU but I got a likely for Cornell, each school wants different things. You may have not been a the right fit for Boston College but you could also be exactly what Northwestern wants. College admissions is not all black and white but shades of gray.</p>
<p>Well, according to one of my sources who is a student at NU and works in the Admissions Office, the decisions will be sent out on March 25 at 8:00</p>
<p>i doubt highly it will be on the 25th especially a 8. I do not think they will post on a sunday or a weekend for that matter</p>

<p>I think NU just comes up with different dates to fool us, and get the pleasure of making us freak out. Yesterday it was the 29th, then today, now Sunday. I bet the folks at admissions are having a lot of fun now!</p>
<p>To be fair, I don’t think the folks in Admissions have come up with ANY of these dates… beyond their published date. </p>
<p>Consider this. Maybe the thing that they’re currently working on is arguing in favor of adding YOU to their list of admitted students! ;-D</p>

<p>Is there some sort of website to go to that will show decisions? I haves searched many times and still can’t find anything.</p>
<p>If it ain’t here, it’s unlikely to be anywhere.</p>
<p>Can’t wait for these results to come out…hopefully it’s today and not on Ivy day…</p>
<p>I’m sure they’re using this time to make the necessary tough calls. They’re dealing with an increase of applicants coupled with a reduced number of slots they can offer, which is a difficult situation to be in. They purposely don’t release an official release date (other than to say late March/early April) so they can take more time if necessary to make sure no stone has been left unturned.</p>

<p>Is NU going to come out today? Chicago is out, but I’m too scared to check, so I thought maybe if I checked both at the same time… One would bring me good news. Higher probability right? :)</p>
