<p>Yeah I just realized that Northwestern never provided any of us with online accounts! So the decisions will be emailed? And I always assumed that they’d soon be sending us an email about when decisions would be available - but I guess they don’t do that in advance? So then do they just email you on the day of?</p>
<p>I think we’d all really appreciate some clarification on this, since many of us seem to be confused about this!</p>
<p>Well when I applied for HPME it was right in the email (it was a rejection, don’t know if it showed up differently for those who were invited for an interview).</p>
<p>I made an account when setting up an interview, but I don’t think I’ll be able to see my decision in the same spot.</p>
<p>They send an email, after the Admissions Office closes for the day. In the email there will be a link to open to your decision.</p>
<p>Yes, a couple of years ago when my son was accepted, he received his email at about 7:30 pm - we are from New Jersey. And yes it was a Thursday evening.</p>
<p>Just curious, how widespread was interviewing? My D wasn’t ever contacted about interviewing… was that a rare thing?</p>

<p>My D interviewed. They held it at a private school. We waited in the lobby until she was called into one of the classrooms and she was in for almost an hour! It went really well, but I doubt it will have any bearing on the decision. There were so many alum interviewing and some of the kids were in and out in 15 minutes or less. NU is a reach school for my D so she did anything in her power to help her cause!!</p>
<p>I was not interviewed, but I am hoping for an acceptance! I was recently wait listed at another top school, so I’m hoping this one turns out for the better! good luck to all!</p>

<p>What if Northwestern is just trolling us and releases decisions tonight?</p>
<p>Wouldn’t we all want that to happen?? I’m just ready for a decision; it has been way too long!</p>
<p>Erm, any official word on the actual release date? I’ve heard that it’s tomorrow, also heard that it’s the 25th, but nothing confirmed.</p>

<p>I think it will be tomorrow. Apparently it has been the third Thursday of the month for something like four years now.</p>
<p>Yes, it’s usually the fourth Thursday of March, but since it falls so early this year, I feel like they’ll wait. Most RD notifications for top schools still haven’t come out.
Just speculating!

<p>Eh, most are coming out within the next week or so, so I’m expecting a (pleasant, please!) notification tomorrow evening. WashU already came out, UChicago and UCLA are coming out on Friday - and all the Ivies are the 29th. NU probably doesn’t have any reason to hold out.</p>

<p>I really think its too early for NU though. They probably got sooo many apps this year too…I don’t think we’ll get the decisions tomorrow. Schools like Lehigh and BC haven’t even sent out decisions yet and I’m pretty sure they get fewer apps than Northwestern does.</p>
