Official SAT I Answer Thread - 12/4 - U.S. Version

What was the power question?

I also remember (x^p)^n = (x^n)^p, which are indeed both equal.

Ahh I don’t remember what the p and n were, but I’m positive that A was the answer.

legend is correct, they’re both the same, they’re equal, it’s C. I remember quite distinctly plugging numbers in everywhere to figure it out :D.

Well you should also know the law of powers, that (x^a)^b is the same as x^ab

do you guys remember what section was the train problem, possiblesides for a triangle, the coordinate closest to x-axis, and the average/median problem was in for math?

Can anyone confirm answers for the phoenix rising from the ashes question, the question that asked how the fourth paragraph was different from the others, and the question about the change in how others viewed woman in the female author passage. I got that she experienced emotional regeneration after loss, that the quote was critical of the author, and that she went from be lengendary to being self contradictory.

legendofmax,
did you put A for the reflection problem, i just want to make sure i get it right, thanks.

morgan: I don’t recall if it was A but it was the one shown in my link

yep the answer is definitely C for the power question

wutsupdoc: The circumference of a circle is the same as the perimeter of a square.

Area of the circle vs. area of the square

) Point closest to X-Axis 22) Community Bank? and West Village
