Official Spring 2014 Cornell Transfers Thread

Okay, so you’re academic credentials are outstanding. According to me, you have nothing to worry about. Also, your parents work for Cornell!!! If I were you, I would just pop some popcorn and play the waiting game the best way you know how.

Captain64, after much research on here that’s the same conclusion I’ve come to. Keep me updated when you receive your decision. This waiting period is tough all I do is fantasize about Cornell all day haha

Thank Chris! I was feeling confident before but it gets harder every day we have to wait. Good luck to everyone!

Playerpiano, you’re welcome! Don’t worry, you’ll be fine! If anything, I’d definitely say that you have the “pull” in admissions and just because your family works at Cornell the “extra pull.”

For sure daddyk64. Yeah, I can relate to you. It’s sometimes difficult to focus on my coursework. Hopefully we’ll get our decisions sooner than later.

Goodluck Daddy and Piano!

Ahh I got into ILR! Other ILR applicants, check your emails soon!

Congratulations ILRies14! I just found out ILR is missing one of my transcripts…as so, I don’t think I will be getting my answer this week! The anticipation is killing me! It must be a relief for you!

Got an e-mail confirmation on SHA- Spring 2014.

Ultra excited.

*this message is sent from a handheld tablet please excuse for any spelling or grammatical error’s in formatting and spelling.

ILRCORNELL,

I wouldn’t be surprised if you get a decision this week - admissions will probably review your application right when they get the transcript. And if not, sit tight! I got mine at 10:00 am exactly.

Haven’t received an email from SHA- trying my best to stay optimistic!

Good job, ILRieS14 and MSSB555! Hang in there, ILRCORNELL! Poor me - I still don’t have my Midterm Report completed yet. Hopefully, I’ll still be accepted without it.

ILRieS14 and MSSB555, did you submit your Midterm Reports? If so, what grades did you receive on it? Thanks!

MSSB555, would it be alright for you to share your academic credentials with us? Thanks!

Just thought I’d start one of these now that acceptances are rolling in!
I might have made some mistakes or left some people out, but it should be roughly right to give us an idea of how many people are applying to which college/school and how many acceptances have gone out. Might also be nice to have acceptance dates of SAT scores or GPAs but no way I’m going back through the posts.
Clearly I also am spending way too much time thinking about Cornell and way too little time studying for my midterms.
