Best advice is keep the confidence that this is the right choice/program that fits your needs/goals. Keep on top of admission’s it shows persistence. If you don’t have it this time around ask what will give you that competitive advantage, and keep to that promise. I was given a GT deferred transfer from Spring 2013 - Spring 2014; within that year I took courses to eliminate core classes once starting Spring 2014 and give me that edge to get me head professionally and personally outside of University.

Best of luck to those waiting/ Congrats to the Spring 2014 accepted.

ILRCORNELL my first instinct was to laugh at that and then immediately feel terrible because I probably would have cried if that happened to me. Hang in there!
Also has anyone called CAS to ask when they might start sending out admissions decisions?

Playerpiano, a CAS rep told me they will not be releasing decisions until from mid-Nov up to ending of December. So many of us will probably won’t receive decisions until around mid-December. Let’s hope we receive good news by then.

I also called CAS and was told decisions would be released around mid-December, but possibly earlier. Meaning: expect the majority of decisions to be released in mid-December, but its not impossible to hear earlier than that. Will decisions be released only by mail?

Hello! I am really really late to join this forum. I am applying to the ILR School for next spring. I have a question! Does anyone know how to sign up for housing? I read that some of you were able to signup Please let me know!

ilrschool, as far as I understand, you cannot sign up for housing until you are accepted. That’s what I have seen people say in other threads and I personally can’t sign up for housing and have not received my decision yet

That would be awesome! I would love to hear all of your stories while watching the sun set over campus- with only the white, glistening snow to listen!

I feel like Thoreau’s Walden is going to be my favorite book if at Cornell! (:

[Log In to the Housing Portal](<a href=“Residential Life | Student & Campus Life | Cornell University”>Residential Life | Student & Campus Life | Cornell University)
^There it is Ilrschool. Just pick log in without net id, and then use the same id/pass you do to check your application status.
The conclusion that most threads have come to, and I agree with is that some people can log on before they are accepted- and then are accepted within of few days of being able to log on, but this isn’t an exact science. So housing MAY=acceptance, and also may not. At the same time not being able to log into housing definitely does not mean you were rejected. Many people even after their acceptances cannot log into housing.
