Great job, AKawasaki! Thanks for the reply!

Has anyone who hasn’t yet submitted their Midterm Reports been accepted so far? :)

wow CONGRATS AKawasaki!! Would you mind PM me your fb page so we can keep in touch?

Chris, best of luck and we will see you on campus then! ;)

Thanks, ccuser66! I really appreciate that, buddy!

libbylxb. I am still waiting to hear from ILR.

I can log into housing!

ILRCORNELL, how did you do that? With the application ID?

Yes libbylxb, exactly. I have trying every day almost to log in. Before today it said access denied. Today I was able to submit a housing app. I am trying not to read too much into…still waiting

I was accepted! Good luck to those who have yet to hear!! Stay strong!

Congratulations!

Has anybody accepted a housing contract yet?

I was automatically placed in Cascadilla Hall; single. In the housing application I asked for double. Not sure if I want to dispute, and just keep the single and stay in Collegetown.

MSS–Cascadilla is nice and convenient to Statler.

I was put in a single on West which is what I asked for, so I’m happy! And I signed the contract. I wouldn’t be too worried about housing - it’s only one semester for us. I think most upperclassmen buildings are mostly singles, too

I’m still waiting for that glorious acceptance letter, or email (whichever one comes first). My parents told me that when the letter arrives, they will meticulously open the envelope and handle the actual letter with even more care, so that when I get home I will be able to read it in my bedroom framed and hanged on my wall above my headboard. I can’t wait!

Hopefully, I’ll be able to get a double or single in Cascadilla. I just love the dorm layouts. If I don’t get Cascadilla, then I’ll just settle for whatever they give me. At least, I’ll be able to sleep on campus, as a transfer. Columbia doesn’t even give transfers housing. That’s why Obama had to sleep on the street in an alleyway for his first night. Could you imagine how ridiculously dangerous that is?

Also, for everyone accepted, did you submit your final official grades yet, or are they not available as of yet? I’m so happy for everyone! Hopefully, I can be this happy for myself soon.

Congrats, ILRCORNELL!!

-Chris, I think it will be out soon good luck!

Thanks, Ccuser66! It will be released soon, indeed!

Thanks Jpapas and ccuser! The reality is just starting to set in! I am undecided whether to live on campus or off. I have a child and a spouse, so we would be in Hasbrouck, which is tiny for a family. I haven’t even applied for housing yet.

Okay, everyone! The moment has finally arrived. Although my Midterm Report is still incomplete (two of my professors thought it would be a good idea to take all of the time in the world), I have been notified by a Cornell representative to go ahead and submit the document. I was also told that incomplete applications would not be ignored, but instead will be sent to review and judged based upon whatever content(s) (incomplete and/or complete) each one is composed of because the remainder of decisions will be released by the end of this week. Wish me luck guys! You’ve all done a great job with the support, but please cross your fingers for me! I want to be able to join all of you guys so bad!!! This is the defining moment of truth for me right now; I have to deal with this while I’m stressing over finals. Hopefully, the outcome will be glorious because my girlfriend of three consecutive years (my future wife) and her parents are already upset with me because I didn’t start my freshman year of college at Brown with her, like we spent the whole entire senior year of high school planning to. No matter what happens, thank you all for getting to know me and my interest in a little (please take heed to the sarcasm) school in Ithaca, New York named Cornell University, baby!! The home of the Big Red!!!

-ILRCORNELL, that is a good question. Or probably living off campus will make your life easier?
-Chris, for sure! Fingers crossed for you!!! Best of luck buddy! Take care of yourself during this specially intensive finals and we will be waiting for you at Cornell! :D

Thanks, Ccuser66! I appreciate that! :)
