No, but I have AP Lang tomorrow… last AP! Psyched! Speaking of which, did anybody take Psych?

I have Macro on Thursday. It’ll be quite fun…

My best friend took Psych, but she was the only person at my school to take it.

I am so glad I’m done with AP exams; I only took three, but I’m burnt out.

Hey all, I decided I did not want to wait in solitude so I’ll join you guys. Crossing my fingers for everyone on here!

Was Stanford everybody’s top choice here or it became one only when you were denied admission to the college of your dreams?

^ It was my top choice when I applied, though while I was waiting in late winter I fluctuated between it and a few others, but by the time March arrived, it was my top choice by far (since I was able to research it more in that period).

Guys, I just got a call from my region’s admissions officer asking me to call him back to explain how (and if) I’m interested in attending Stanford!

Speaking of “colleges of your dreams”, here’s a little light reading to entertain you while you wait:[Princeton Review’s 2010 ‘College Hopes & Worries Survey’ – NEW YORK, March 24 /PRNewswire/ --](Princeton Review's 2010 'College Hopes & Worries Survey')

Good luck.

Congratulations Leidolon! I hope you make it. :)

Congrats Leidolon! Go forth and grab the ‘cardinal’ opportunity with both hands… Just asking generally, did anyone else also receive such a call?

Congrats Leidolon!

Harvard17, I didn’t get any calls… but then again I’m in Canada so mehh.

Thanks everyone, but I think I just ruined my chances. As it turns out, the admissions officer called on Monday and wanted me to call back that night; I didn’t look at my cell phone until today because I had to turn off my phone when I attended some events with my mentor on Monday (I met the Japanese ambassador!)… and I forgot about my phone until today. I’m so worried that I ruined my chances because I forgot to turn on my cell phone…

if they’re calling people they want, that probably doesn’t bode well for people who haven’t received a call…like me
i really hope they email either way soon because this state of limbo has me on edge

Doesn’t seem like it’s going to be today. If I read it correctly, the Admissions Office is supposed to contact everyone on the waiting list, right?

That’s the way I read it. They probs won’t do it by today though… maybe the end of the week?

Harvard17, My original first choice was Yale, but after getting denied, I became a bit more informed with regards to Stanford.

They do send out updates to everybody, but if they are particularly interested they will either call or email you or your counselor to talk further, usually before the group updates.

So, as my username suggests, my first choice was undoubtedly Harvard, although Stanford was in my top three. After being denied admission by the almighty Harvard, Stanford obviously became my new center of curiosity!

Is the lack of any new updates (via phone or email) from Stanford something to worry about?

@meygan28: I, too, am an international applicant! Is the system different for us?

Hey harvard17… I don’t know. I’d hope not! >.< I’d like to think that we all have an equal chance here but I really have no idea. :P

I can’t imagine how everyone else is coping with the waiting though. I’ve been checking my e-mail practically every 5 minutes… this is hell. :|

^I don’t really think we have an equal chance, but that obviously does not mean we have no chance! The number of international students taken off the waitlist, in my view, will almost always be lower than the number of American nationals.

Do you guys think we’ll find out today, tomorrow or sometime next week?
