*Official* Stanford REA 2015 Applicants' Discussion Thread

SAT scores - Oct. 28, 5:00 am, EDT

submitted my supplement today!!! but my counselor completely trashed my common app essay legit 5 days before the due date. really… i sent the essay to her a week ago and now she’s basically telling me to rewrite it.

YARGH!

Time for champagne now?

SAT scores tomorrow YAYY hope I did well on math ii and spanish!

To check application status:

https://axess.stanford.edu/

then go to the left hand side and click application status

gotta make a run to the liq store to purchase some cristal in preparation

I have this strange feeling that your statement isn’t entirely false…

but of course not except instead of dishing out that kind of cash on a one-time champagne splurge, i think i’m going to treat myself to this new pair of sunglasses i’ve been dying to have

If you get a low score, watching “The Perfect Score” might help feel better xD

My best friend is flying in from Ohio this weekend to celebrate me applying! That’ll be my expensive pair of sunglasses :)

[Countdown to Oct 28, 2010 5:00 AM in New York](<a href=“Time since Oct 28, 2010 5:00 am started in New York”>Time since Oct 28, 2010 5:00 am started in New York)

because it’s fun (not really) to countdown to SAT results :p

so Decisions December 15th? or could it be earlier like with Michigan?

Is there anyone out there who is going to hit the submit button to Stanford REA this coming weekend? Hopefully the common apps site is not down or something haha… Good luck to you all!

Congrats crmichi! And good luck to everyone else who’s still scrambling to finish their app… :p

people who are still scrambling shouldn’t waste time on here…

Hopefully I get this application done by Sunday. I just got the roommate essay to write.

Any advice on it?

Good point  And I just hit my 2,000th post on College Confidential! Not sure if I should feel happy because of that, or sad because that’s an indicator of how much time I’ve wasted on this site… :p

Same here. Everything else is done. Just one more essay, and I can submit my app. For some reason, I thought the roommate essay would be the easiest to write…boy was I wrong

i hope other supplements pale in comparison to these ridiculous three essays

regarding common app essay length,

Mine was originally 1200 words, so cutting down to 770 was a milestone for me xD

I’m sorry if this question has already been asked somewhere on CC: I have a fee waiver, but the Common App doesn’t let you select the waiver option until you’ve submitted everything (I probably won’t submit everything until Sunday morning). I’m wondering if I can send the fee waiver now or if it’s possible to fax it in. I just don’t want the Common App to consider me not having paid for my app, and that making my application unacceptable for SCEA.
