Oh, thanks! Glad to hear it isn’t just me :P

When did you submit?

Oh, thanks! Glad to hear it isn’t just me :P

When did you submit?

Application Downloaded: 11/01/2010
Supplements Complete: 10/31/2010
Payments Complete: 11/01/2010
School Forms Assigned: 09/04/2010

Nope, MIT as in Massachusetts institute of Tec and FIT as in Florida Institute of Tec… :)

This is basically the same status i’m getting. One of my teachers hasn’t submitted their rec yet, so i’m starting to get a bit worried

Hey! I’ve been way too stressed about college apps and STANFORD to actually post here in a long time… >< But, yeah, my status says the same thing…

Mine’s downloaded 11/02/2010!!! AHHHHHHHHHHH
The auditing thing is nice to hear. I’d be down for a free interview, but the downside is that it means an extra round of stressing / fretting and preparation T_T And it might not even help in the end hehe :P

Don’t fret! Be you!

So where’s everyone from?
Bay Area, California here! ^^

Tennessee!

Hey person, go read back though the thread and you’ll figure it out! You’re a little behind ;)

Ahaha sorry I wanted to, it’s just so long!!! You can call me Conan btw ^^

Did any one actually follow the app’s guidelines of up to 250 words and up to 4 lines for short answers?

I was really paranoid so I followed it STRICTLY even though there was still clearly much more space on the print preview to write… and all my friends were like “oh you can go over a bit as long as it fits on print preview.”

Result was that I had like 300-500 extra characters for the essays and a lot of extra room on short answers (my answers were REALLY short T_T).

^I followed the 4 line limit for the short answers, but I think I had ~255 words for two of my essays, the other one was within the limit

So on the Stanford website that gives you the how-to-apply info, it said that they would send an e-mail after the app was sent in about how to confirm if your letters have arrived/been processed. Is this the case for anyone? Cause I haven’t gotten one yet but I sent it in yesterday.

Read the thread. It can take forever.

Conan- I followed the 250 limit exactly, too :)

But we cannot see the entire essays in the Print Preview, can we? (Even though its just 250 words?) will Stanford be able to see them?

And guys, I have a problem in the essay in which we have to explain about one of our extracurriculars. Its says 150 words or less. My essay IS less than 150 words, but when I look at the downloaded application through the “View Application” button it cuts the essay halfway through.

I’ve been avoiding this thread because I didn’t know what REA stood for, I’m used to seeing it as SCEA. -_-

I applied REA to Stanford… very nervous, but hopeful. Good luck everyone!

In reply to AngelAngel1770:

Oh, even when I just put a draft on there to see it on print preview (and it was WAY over 150 words), the print preview let me see all of it… strange…
