*Official* Stanford REA 2015 Applicants' Discussion Thread

^ The problem with that, though, is that we don’t really know how many more people on CC are applying this year, because I don’t think people have finished pledging yet…

Keep a time barrier?

% increase in CC applicant pool (for eg, as of 11/14/2010 against as of 11/14/2009)

It would give a crude approximation… but yeah, the closer to the decisions, the accurate it will get (hopefully :p)

BTW… does anyone want to make the REA decisions thread? I think we should include questbridge applicants there as well because there was a little argument last year because of two threads for REA decisions…

I don’t think I can do that with the numbers I have… and there is no way I’m digging through that thread again! XD

I had some idea earlier that escaped me… hopefully it will come back so I can use it…

Shouldn’t we wait for it to be a little closer to the deadline? I think it’d be better if all that was on there was decisions, instead of random discussion. But we should definitely include Questbridge applicants.

Can’t the REA kids just post on this thread?

^

it would be easier for the Class of 2016 to navigate a new thread, rather than go through pages of our blabbering xD

and that thread should only be decisions… REA decision discussions should have another thread… in my opinion…

^Yeah, I agree

So many threads…

Oh and we should have another thread to… Just kidding.

Haha, man i just want to fast forward a month :

27 more days, guys  and 10 until November SAT scores come out!

^ Now that’s a scary thought!

Noooo! The November SAT subject tests seemed easier than most, so we’re going to stay optimistic, okay Fledgling?! :D

What do you guys think you’ll be doing when decisions come out?

Hrmph. Sure. But I’ll be blaming you if I open my College Board account on the 23rd and get a heart attack (and not in the good way)… :p

Guys, stop worrying about stats - there’s really nothing we can do at this point! :)

Seriously, though, I’m stressing all my mid-december apps. argh.

Well, since decisions come out at 5 am my time, I will be sleeping. Though I will have an alarm set for 5 and I will get up and check, like I did last month. Plus, I’m pretty sure the half-sleeping mood is the best one to be in when you check your scores- it keeps you from freaking out too much :)

Hahah, yeahh I wish I could be in a half dazed mood when I found out. Maybe I’ll ditch practice and take a nap instead. Haha. =)

ahh, do results come out at the same time as semester exams for you guys? :stuck_out_tongue: That’s great :P

27 days! That’s amazing. Isn’t it more like 31 days though? In 30 days it’ll be Dec. 14…

Who’s going to have senioritis? (I don’t think I will… I’m going to enjoy the last 5 months of high school… OH MY)

Apparently for the last I don’t know how many years, the decisions have been posted the Friday before the 15th, and this year the Friday before the 15th is the 10th, so people think that that’s when the decisions will be posted.

I won’t be half dazed, I will probably be glued to my laptop refreshing the web page every two seconds… I’m actually really worried, I barely remember the test, seriously, it all passed in a blur, so I’ve no idea how I did…

^
Why doesn’t time fast forward to Dec. 10 already >_<
