Official Stanford SCEA 2016 Applicants' Discussion Thread

Damn, thus far, only 4 people on Columbia’s thread were admitted.

The CSS Profile is REQUIRED, to receive any kind of aid. The deadline was posted on Stanny’s website.

My god, for once the heat is getting to me. I have to know aghhh.

I cannot stand Stanford’s indecisiveness. Just give me an exact date.

And, that, my folks, is my 1000th POST ON CC!!!

Its not too late. You have to still send in the css profile but you just won’t know you aid package until like april as opposed to tmrw

@dapotatoman, I hear you. I don’t even care if it’s an acceptance or a rejection at this point, I just want to know!

Good luck, you guys. I hope this doesn’t turn out as unsatisfactorily as last years’ SCEA decisions.

thank you so much, jdlace!!

I believe the last time I posted on this thread was when it still had fewer than 100 posts but I’ve been lurking from time to time  Ah I really want them to release them tomorrow! I think they will. They had fewer/same amount of applicants than last year.

So can I still turn in the CSS after I find out decisions?

Does anyone want to call and ask?

I’ve been following this thread for a while, but I have a legitimate question that hopefully someone can answer! Can you turn in the CSS after decisions are made, if accepted?

I just checked another post on CC, a guy got in SCEA and turned in the CSS in January. He said that they didn’t care as long as its before June…

Hmahhhhh
One day? or Eight days?

Someone call and ask, please?

There not gonna say anything conclusive if you call. And if its not tmrw then they will probly do it on Monday but hopefully its tmrw

They might say something conclusively…?

I agree with jdlace.

Alright, since nobody has a pair, I decided to call.

The guy said “Stanford will release decisions ON or AROUND December 15th”

Then I said “I was wondering because many peer colleges are releasing decisions as we speak, so I was wondering if Stanford was following a similar schedule.”

He responded and said “Nope, Stanford has followed the same schedule regarding decisions for numerous years.”

I asked “Have decisions been finalized?”

He said “No, they have not been.”

I was using my aunt’s phone, so they can’t trace me back. If they tried, they would get a number in Philadelphia. So, they don’t reject me for pestering them, haha.

Thanks StanfordCS, although that is quite a disappointment.

I’m not sure if they’re feeding me a load of BS. That just seems insane if they still haven’t finished.

I mean COME ON!
