<p>i hear that the stanford admissions office sometimes makes fun of applicants after they hang up, so i don’t think it’s implausible for them to say that they’re not done yet. isn’t the whole point of making the “surprise” announcement to catch people off their toes? </p>
<p>fwiw, i called just a few minutes ago and the lady said they they had finished making decisions and that they were just in the process of finalizing and organizing stuff, but that it was ultimately dean shaw’s decision to release decisions or not.</p>

Chill: yes, we’d all like to find out both if decisions are being released tomorrow (or WHEN) and our personal decisions, but we have zero, zip, nada control over getting that intel until Stanford is good and ready to give it to us. No amount of calling or speculation is going to change it. Just sit back, and enjoy the fact that as of THIS moment, we ALL have a chance. That won’t be true soon enough…</p>
