My dad got a letter telling him they acknowledged my legacy status, and said that legacy applicants typically have a 3x admit rate. Does legacy really help that much?

true, but spurious correlation for the most part.
Stanford legacies by definition come from well-educated families and have “smart genes” making them more likely to do well on standardized tests, etc.

Me too. But, I won’t lie, I may have a heart attack.

How will they let you know? I know they send an email, but will there be a link in the email which the student clicks, and it will bring them to their admissions decision?

@nerdyjock: your post is from a couple pages back but thanks for your advice. Reciting the first line of the rejection letter actually helps although it is depressing o.o;

Wow. I feel abnormal. I kind of don’t feel much emotion over anticipating my decision right now, but that may just be because I’m so busy working on other apps and not thinking about Stanford at the moment. Anyone else feel like this?

@jdlace, Have FAITH, you never know. People you would think would get accepted end up rejected, and people you think would be rejected end up getting accepted. Just have faith!
