I’m pretty much done – just polishing my last essay for my last app. If I don’t get into any CA school, I’ll apply to U AZ last moment in the spring – their deadline is crazy late.

Question: How many people do you think like on their applications? Sadly I have to think a number do.

days that are more important than December 9th/15th:

the day you were born
your first day of school
the day of your religious coming of age (bar mitzvah, etc.)
April first of this year (for most of us, at least)
your first day of college
your wedding day
when you start your career
when you buy your first home
when each of your kids are born
when you retire
when each of your grandkids is born

Seriously, there’s been some sad stuff happening around my world. Nothing that directly affects me, but stuff that makes you feel lucky to be alive, healthy, happy etc. I kind of feel like getting into Stanford might be too much to ask, given how lucky I am in general. I’m a pessimist, what can I say?

DARN YOU GUYS. NO MORE TALKING ABOUT DECEMBER 9TH. If the decisions don’t come out on the 9th we’re all going to be even more anxious and ****ed off mostly.

What’re some of y’alls stats and everything from your application? I’m curious to see what kind of students are competing for the same spots as me.

Yes but “Chances” threads don’t mean anything. Why are people asking 17 and 18 year old prospective students of their chances? How do we know, we’re not college adcomms?
