<p>I really really don’t want to wait a whole week. I had a hard enough time this week when I was pretty much the only person at school freaking out. With decisions from a bunch of schools coming out this week, I can’t deal with the heightened stress of our collective class all week. It really has to be Tuesday. Also Tuesday is the only day I get home before 3.</p>
<p>So let me get this straight- absolutely NO ONE on this page received an admission’s letter today, right??? Just want to be extra sure

<p>And don’t forget when they say they accepted 750 people think about the 200+ athletes Stanford accepts early too. Unlike the ivy’s we’re applying to a school that would have been 12th in the Olympics if it were it’s own country and is in the Rose Bowl.</p>
<p>Yah we have to take that into account, a baseball player from my school who does steroids, hasn’t taken a challenging class in his life, and probably thinks a differential equation is just an equation that is different from another one got accepted into Columbia’s early pool and our valedictorian was rejected. (competitive public by the way) So even at an ivy apparently…athletes man :P</p>
<p>My school already has athletes going into Brown, Cornell, Northwestern, and Princeton. Whooooo -_______-</p>
<p>I just found the legacy letter and took a closer look. It says they will mail the acceptance packets on the 18th. (They don’t mail denials.) So Stanford doesn’t seem to be very concerned with getting mail to anyone before the 15th (or any time soon). I think we can assume that the mail will have no impact on the timing of the e-mail notifications.</p>
<p>@SocalPapa , so does that mean the results may come out later than the 15th???</p>

<p>Okay, on the website and on the automatic email I received when I sent in my application, I was told the official release date would be the 15th. However, I see that many of you are talking about it being the 14th at the latest. Did the final decision date change? I also see that some you mentioned a letter in the mail saying the 14th would be the day of notification. I never received such letter. Does that mean I probably won’t get in? :(</p>
<p>I think the letter people were referring to was sent only to legacies who were notified a day early.</p>
