Wow. For those who did not get into Merage or into UCI at all, you do NOT have to sulk here. There are many other choices and opportunities out there. It should have already been knowledgeable that Merage is crazy competitive to get in due to limited space availability. Acknowledge that there are 10k+ other freshmen and transfers whom also got rejected.
And based on reading from this forum, some of you guys got accepted to other great schools. There are some students whom did NOT get accepted at all. Take this time to celebrate if you did get into a school that you’re going to be attending.
Signed my SIR & ready to get this going! Anybody planning on playing in any club sports? I’m planning on dusting off the cleats and glove and playing some baseball.
I got admitted for Computer Science, but planned to switch into Mechanical Engineering. I will probably need to take more class to graduate in 2 years. Does anybody know if it is hard to take MORE THAN 16 UNITS at CSUN?
@darkarchang3l Well I eventually want to work as a Business/Financial analyst so i think Bus Econ at UCI would help me. But I also think Bus Admin classes would be more appropriate for I want to do lol
@DLoading I think biz econ would be better for an analyst because you’re going to deal with a lot of data and interpretation and the econ part is going to come in handy
Has anyone received their financial aid award yet? I keep checking the financial aid site and it says that they would start notifying in early May. I just want to see what I got before I SIR.
Did anyone how to deal with course changes? I send a message to the admission and they said: “We cannot confirm whether or not this will affect your admission until we receive all your official transcripts containing all your grades through Spring 2017”. My cc is quarter schedule and there’s no way I am going SIR them first and they don’t tell me that if I would be accepted or not. My official transcript is going out in early July. FYI, my major is east asian humanities. What should I do now?
