@DLoading okay thanks!
@5HisLife UCI says to submit your official transcripts by July 1
@amunroeee I would love to talk about housing with you! I’m looking for some roommates for the on campus apartments
Has anyone spoken to any Financial Aid reps about the Award release? UCSD told me Friday.
I have a co worker that graduated UCI, and she said that the campus village wasn’t that great and it’s best to either go with the ACC apartments, or to just find your own apartments with someone else. She ended up finding a place in newport beach. How do you guys feel about her opinion?
Has anyone received their UCI package yet? I got accepted on April 19 and I still haven’t gotten mine yet
@tausby96 I’m definitely interested in the ACC apartments, I just hope they’re not too far from campus.
@tausby96 Yeah but the ACC apartments are more expensive. Plus I’m going to roommate with a friend who is currently at UCI so it shouldn’t be too bad, I hope.
Does anyone have the link to register for orientation?
Hey guys, so it says on my admissions page that I need to submit my high school and college transcripts to uci. Do transfers also need to submit their high school transcripts ? I’ve been out of high school for 4 years already lol. Also, do I need to turn in my trancripts in person to the admissions office ? Thanks.
Anyone still waiting for an admissions decision?
Hey @patoodyrocks most likely you will be on the waitlist, I had the same situation with UCR, my admission advisor, who use to work at UCR, told me to email them, and to make sure they consider you, and tell them you are waiting to be accepted at their school. I was put on the waitlist, you might get in, only because they are still trying to make sure they have the amount of students they want for their school. So you should email them, hopefully it works out for you
Just declined offer. Good luck everybody on the waitlist!
Is there a Facebook group for admitted students?
@TROGANFIGHTON Thank you for the information!
@Socalguy1194
Yes you still need to submit high school transcripts. If it’s anything like mine, your old school district will have a website setup where you can order a copy of your transcripts be sent to UCI. If they don’t have it setup, you’ll want to contact your old school district to figure out how to get a copy. You can also opt to turn them in in person. I played it safe and had a second copy of all transcripts sent to me just in case.
For anyone who didn’t attend the celebration on Friday.
I went and they spoke about financial aid and orientation.
Financial aid will be released mid May.
Orientation link will be up after the June 1st. Orientation will begin at the end of June into the beginning of July.
Did they mention anything about when our email accounts would be activated? Or is that at orientation?
@abbcrig12 Which orientation is this? I know of three orientations: Transfer Success, T-SPOP, and ICS (major specific), with only the ICS one being mandatory. I’m still wondering if the other two are worth going to.
I’m pretty sure that would be in the orientation. They said it takes a couple of hours and it’s highly recommended that you go to it. They will send an email after the deadline for SIR (June 1st). At this orientation you get an ID and set up your Ed plan. At this time you will be able to register for classes
