Honestly I see everyone looking for these clues that they have a foot in, and I don’t think there is any heads up or good sign or anything like that, you are either admitted or not.
I am a transfer student from ELAC dying to hear back from UC Irvine. I have a 3.25 gpa and trying to get accepted in the urban studies program.I got accepted to Cal Poly Pomona and Csulb and cant decide which school to attend,hoping UCI can be the tiebreaker haha. Hopefully i get a good response from UCI.Good Luck to everyone unless your an Urban Studies major!

A few people with tag got waitlisted or rejected, who knows if there is more to the story. The vast majority of tags were admitted 3/4 of the way through the month, I bet you will be fine. What are your stats marinacma and hafmanhafmazin ?

@BackNSchool83 3.53 gpa Electrical engineering major…finished minimum required pre reqs for TAG. And took a gap year this year which i dont think matters for TAG right?
If last year is any indication, non-CHP regents should hear any day now. They started hearing on April 3 last year (which was a Friday). Everything seems to be about one week behind this year…so my prediction is regents will hear tomorrow.

All prereqs done by the end of the semester including the year of calculus
5+ years of work experience but no ECs
Personal statements: I’d say an 8/10 overall, one is awesome, the other not so much

One thing I think I have as an advantage is that my moms business provides internships for uci students, and she’s an alumni.
I’m really hoping I get into UCI cause it’s myour number 1 school, but I guess we’ll see

Essay: pretty strong, had 2 professors review!
California resident, Parent is a UC faculty member (no clue if that makes any difference at all lol)
Applied: UCLA, San Diego, Irvine, LMU & USC
Accepted: LMU (haven’t heard back from the rest yet)
