Hi everyone, potiential fall transfer here. I currently attend Santiago Canyon College and a friend of mine who goes here as well received his admissions acceptance in the mail last week.
He was on vacation last week and so his brother opened his mail and read it to him. He hasn’t been home yet to show me. He is a transfer student like I am. I’m not sure if he received regents or not.
Are we thinking decisions might come out this friday or later in the month?
they should release them either this friday or the 22nd

Hi guys! I have a GPA of 3.66 coming from an OOS 4yr college, and I’m applying to computer science. Is my GPA a bit too low for admission?
I was waitlisted last semester with a GPA of 3.1 and managed to get in. But i was on the waitlist for about 2 months. I also applied as a Psvch Major @mikusashi
I think you have a great chance because Psychology is not imoacted and you have good stats! @psyphil12
@dledesma46 So psychology ISN’T impacted? I thought psych was impacted at every UC.

@marinacma - haha, rather than check my portal all the time, I just monitor THIS thread - since I figure the minute any of us non-Regents/non-Honors/non-TAG students get any news, we’ll likely (hopefully) be posting here. When this thread blows up with “I got in, zomg!” or “Boo I didn’t get in” posts, then it’ll be a good sign for me to check the portal again :).
@uciruby I think you’re right! My bet is that the rest of the UC transfer decisions will come out Friday the 22nd. This is the first April in 5 years to have 5 Fridays, and since Berkeley comes out the 29th, that’s my assumption. Though, I hope I’m wrong!!
Is the Public Health (BA) major hard to get into? Transferring from CC with 3.6 GPA.

@Giraffe347 For Policy it’s a 70 something acceptance rate, for Sciences, it’s a lot lower. I’m a Policy applicant!
@chs2014 Thats awesome! Hope we get in! I really do not know what to do with policy I kind of just decided to major in it because I did not know what to do haha
I wonder what type of job you could get with Public Health Policy major? Also, is the quarter system really a drastic change from semester and is it difficult for CC students to adjust?
