@Cgs16 Please let me know if you find out anything [-O< I am thinking of droppinng a class that is a major requirement, but dunno if it will make the schools reject me and/or if I can take it after I transfer
Looking at this, feeling kinda safe to say that only GPA’s 3.7+ were accepted 8->
Yeah, that event really did seem catered to freshman admits.
Did you check out the Transfer Student Center table though? I highly recommend visiting that place if UCI is your choice. They have a lot of resources for us transfer students, and they’re pretty helpful!

When I reach high levels of stress and anxiety, I sleepwalk. Today I woke up on the floor of the kitchen in front of an open fridge. It’s going to be a loooong week.
@uciruby - a “support” (LOL) group for us oldies would work. I was excited when I went to a few transfer student info sessions to see other “older” students only to find out they were “lost” parents sitting in to get info for their overachieving freshman who wanted to (but can’t) attend all the sessions.
@vvMark - I did stop by transfer center table - very friendly and helpful group of people. As a matter of fact, compared to UCR’s open house last weekend, UCI’s people/student/staff seemed more genuinely interested in talking to me than the people at UCR.

@BackNSchool83 count me in for fall 2015 i was accepted with 3.3-3.4 gpa with public health science. Now I’m reapplying
@gbanner based on last year they rejected most people who had tag, but seems like this year they are accepting students with TAG. Also last year more students with low GPA were admitted in comparison to this year. Seems like its because of the UC app deadline extension, since they have so many more applicants, they are accepting more and more students with high end GPA . I’m trying to remain hopeful though, starting to write my appeal letter hah!
