Seeing everyone wait anxiously for their decisions makes me feel really lucky to have been notified last thursday. Not only UCI but UCSB also notified me the first day decisions were out. I did TAG to UCI by the way. Good luck to those who are still waiting!
Does anyone know why decisions are rolled out like this? After all these months, I’d think most of the decisions have been made, especially because they string out the tag admissions. Why can’t they just send enduring out at once?
On Saturday I spoke to an admissions person & he said that admissions decisions would come out every other day. Also, that we will be getting an email of when our portal status has changed.
@psyphil12 we receive an email an hour or two after the portal change. So i recommend checking the portal first.
For all of us CC transfers who haven’t been in high school in years, we get accepted has anyone asked UCI if we need to give them our high school transcripts when we fill out our SRI’s?
I have asked them, and they responded that “Last Wednesday, TAG releases and other Honors admits were notified only. We are almost ready for all regular applicants. We will release all this week until April 30.”
When did they reply? Today?

I’m currently taking classes in my spring quarter, does that mean they’re not required? I have over 90 units with AP scores I believe.
They roll out admissions to give those selected first time to brag and flaunt their acceptance, while the rest of us suffer in nail biting suspense.
not sure nivanemesis…I know that with my son he has to get a B or better in the classes he is taking if he gets accepted;assist classes… and if he does not all bets are off for him…that message they gave you is a bit strange…its like well do I or don’t I

@ohdeers yes most likely with very few acceptances, but majority of them rejections.
Anyone got a acceptance letter with 3.5ish? (without TAG)
Admitted last Thursday on April 14th.

Funny I was admitted despite not having a TAG on that day.
