the fact that there are no acceptances today scares me 
They have tended to release towards the end of the week historically, I donât see what there is to be worried about at this point. If we get to April 29th and everyone seems to have heard back, except you, that would be a legit reason to be worried. Keep in mind that last year people were still being informed of their admission up through the 29th, but it was a mixed bag of waitlist and acceptance at that point. All waitlist and rejections occurred the last day of the month last year.
@BackNSchool83 There were some acceptances on the 29th after 29 it was rejections! Also last year they released their decisions very late, they started on April 24. In 2014, they released on April 14-20 ish .
well, looks like it is very easy to switch majors once accepted.
Just switched from Mechanical Engineering into Computer Science and Engineering, it all took about 4 days!
Indeed, it is very easy. I requested a change over the weekend and it was approved this morning.
If I got accepted for chemistry but want to change majors to biological sciences, will switching majors affect my acceptance decision?
Note: I have not finished the prerequisites for biological sciences (a few classes short), but I have finished for chemistry.
Hello everyone! I hope someone can help, I a bit worried at this point. I havenât heard anything from UCI yet. My major is Business Economics. I tagged with a 3.89GPA and finished IGETC and my lower division requirements. It seems like everyone has gotten in already except for me. Does anyone know if I should take any actions at this point?
Where would be a place to send an email about changing my major? Iâm not completely sure if I want to but just had a few questions. Thanks!

I tagged to UCI with a 3.67 gpa. I was accepted on friday for Biological sciences! I am super happy because UCI is such a great school. I applied to UCR and UCLA as well but still no response which makes me nervous about UCRâŠ
