I didn’t expect UCI to give out admission decisions so fast but i got accepted for spring quarter great christmas gift no need to wait until fall now 
Is it just me or does the admissions page keep making you accept its terms and conditions every time you log in?

I’m sure you will enjoy UCI. I’ve just finished my first quarter here (EE major), and even though it wasn’t my first choice school when I was applying to transfer last year, I’m extremely happy with my experience overall.
That’s awesome about you Spring admits, but be sure to clarify that you are talking about Spring if you use this thread because this thread is really for Fall 2016 admissions and this might get confusing for some people . Also if you post any admission status please be considerate and also include your stats. Thanks.

cheers… what is your gpa?.. mine is around 3.63 I am just worried if this much is enough hahahahah, but ya, I will have every requirement met, as there weren’t many in the first place. ;
The UCI rep that came to my school said their average transfer admittance GPA was a 3.4, I have a 3.6+ with Fall grades included.
hell yeah! i have a 3.82 with these fall grades. I hope i get in!
Omg its haunting to be so close near the limit, coz just last last year they broke their own record for number of applications and their admittance GPA went a little higher… I really hope I get in…
@uciruby you are definitely going to get In with that GPA…
I’m kind of worried myself. The UCI Fall 2015 thread had a lot of people with 3.7+ GPAs still getting rejected. It might be a vocal minority but it’s still making me anxious haha.
@crazzy4 mine is 3.77. Did you tag? If so, as long as you stay above 3.4 and have all prereqs done by the end of spring, you are in. But even without tag last year there were many CS acceptances with 3.4 - 3.6.
@nirvanemesis There should be a reason why those folks got rejected. Maybe they did not have some major prep done that they did not know of or maybe they were not in a good standing at their CC. Plus keep in mind reading last year’s threads that not everyone, who gets accepted, will come back here and write a post. Don’t worry, with 3.7+ your chances are awesome!
Nope @lenocturne, I didn’t had enough classes by the last year to do TAG. but ya I think I still have some chance to get accepted.
