@100789 It is extremely easy. Just log into your portal. Click on Message Center. Click on Compose New Message. Select Change my Major. It will then give you a list for you to select which major you want to change into. After that, you would just click on Send Message and wait for your counselor to get back to you. It took them about 3 business days to change mine. Good luck!

Bus Admin, 4.0 gpa but missing couple requirements(calc 2 and stats). I got rejected by ucla for missing calc 2 I believe since gpa and resume is flawless. Still no update, Im probably rejected right, or at least wait listed?
@smctothe I’m sort of in a similar situation. So if you end up not going where you wanted to, do u plan on taking the math courses in the summer/fall and then reapplying next year?

So I’ve been looking at the 2015 thread. The last dates people got acceptances on were the 27-28th. Waitlist offers and rejections came out on the 29th and 30th.
So if one doesn’t receive admission today or tomorrow. It would be safe to say it will be a rejection/waitlist? Judging from past years.
Well I doubt they would release today since it’s the weekend so tomorrow I guess? @uctransfer16 Idk everything is so random.
@hiimfriendly Whats your situation, what year you in? Its only my 2nd year so if I dont get into UCI or my appeal wont work for UCLA then I will stay the next semester(UCI does spring admins I believe) or year and finish my classes. Either work a bit more or get an internship. I got into ucr but I didnt work this hard to not go to a school I want to
@smctothe I’m in my 2nd year as well. My GPA isn’t that great at 3.5 but I think what’s holding me back from this are my essays. I didn’t get into my TAG school because I was missing a course. If I don’t get into UCI ill probably take another fall semester and apply through TAG/regular transfer again. Btw do u know if UC schools require us to also take the spring semester before transferring or can I just take the fall and then re-apply for spring/fall 2017. Also if you go to smc then we are in VERY similar situations
I think it’s going to be Thursday and Friday again until we here something. They’ll probably waiting for some people to reject their admissions first then they’ll let people know if they are rejected or wait listed or accepted.
@hiimfriendly I do go to smc lol. Essays arent as big as the requirements and gpa. Im unsure if I understand your question. Are you asking do the UC’s want us to take both semesters or just take it all in fall and do nothing in spring? If so, Im unsure but I think they like kids to take classes in each big semester
Anyone else get an unexpected senior level acceptance? I have courses from a four year, but I only took lower div courses (might have taken 1-2 upper divs, but can’t recall). Since then, I’ve only taken courses at a CA CC.
Could this be an error?
@smctothe Yeah that was my question because if I take a couple classes then I can transfer straight through with the TAG program. I just wanted to get it over with in the fall so I could work / intern. I’m already around 60 units I don’t want to take classes that I dont need but if that’s what they’re expecting then I guess I have no choice. Am I still able to transfer in as a 3rd year student if I have like 75+ units?
