Does UC Irvine read the personal statement essays?
I was accepted to UCI on saturday morning, under the business economics major!
Gpa: around a 3.8
General ed completed
Major prep done, other than still finishing up macroeconomics
Essays: pretty good, if i do say so myself.
So far, im in at uci, ucr, and cal poly pamona. I got rejected by cal state long beach and got completely ignored by cal state fullerton XD
Accepted, major Biological Sciences 
GPA: 4.0 (but with some issues)
Gen ed: 2 subs left, not completed.
TAG: UCSB (Pending)
Major prep: everything done, except for Stats and Physics
Essay: Okay
ECs: a part time job and TA. Aside from that, none.
Applied: CSULB, CSUF, Cal Poly Pomona, UCI, UCD, USCB, UCSD, UCLA, and UCR.
Denied: UCLA
Pending: UCSB
Waitlisted: UCSD and UCD
Accepted: UCI, UCR, CSULB, CSUF, and Cal Poly Pomona.
Been anxious before Fri, but now I’m in heaven. Good luck to everyone who haven’t heard back yet!! Amd congrats to all of you guys who got in!
For those of you accepted, where are you all living next year? I am trying to get an idea of what my options are as far as off-campus vs on-campus apartments. Thanks!
@scottythehotty I’m planning on living on campus at CAMPUS VILLAGE because it’s the close at housing to the nursing school

Nothing today here either way…Im thinking that the ones that were excepted maybe stating Sat is when they got notification through their email…not at the portal…

@ddragon2314 I applied as pharmsci as well and still haven’t heard back.
I am going to be devastated I don’t get accepted… I’m sitting with a 3.67 GPA with over 80+ unit including some upper divisional sciences. I’m at a four year but I cant afford my tuition any longer.
My major of choice was nursing sciences, and my secondary was biological sciences. I understand they are both competitive by nature but this is getting ridiculous. This whole rolling admissions process is filled with flaws.

@Annanutella What majors did you apply for at UCSB, UCD, UCSD, UCLA? I want to do something specifically with BIM, as in half business and half computer science and not a lot of colleges offer it.
