Keep in mind that UCI emails you that your decision is up SEVERAL HOURS after it is up on your portal. So don’t give your date and time of admission based off of your email.
CS major here too with a 3.33 GPA the lowest gpa last year for a CS major was a 3.28 and the 2nd lowest was I think in the 3.5s, so I don’t think it’s looking good for me. What about you @nepusr what’s your GPA if you don’t mind me asking?

@csplzplz well I want your spot so UCSD, but in general I believe UCSD is right behind UCLA and UCB in terms of rankings and UCI is 4th, but as far as how the school is you should visit if you can.
My gpa isn’t the greatest. 3.1~ and I am waiting.

Would prefer UCI. But, at this current state any school offering admission over waitlists would be amazing. Only have UCI and UCSB pending.
@ladodgers167 I got accepted to CPP but the speech class that I need got cancelled, and I used my TAG to Irvine but it’s voided because of my GPA, so I’ll have to rethink a new strategy next year because of my GPA. Maybe I’ll tag to UCSB with a different major. I’m not sure right now.

Still nothing, you guys don’t think their gonna make us wait until friday? I really hope not. (biomedical engineering hopeful with a 3.4 gpa)
@ladodgers167 I already asked the counselor personally (paid $7 for parking) if I can take it over the summer, but they said no. I’m hoping it’s a blessing in disguise because I think UCs will give more financial aid.
