Those rankings the I saw was from a few years ago, so I don’t know what it is now.
And as far as the wait, obviously I want it sooner but the last two big batches were sent Thursday and Friday, so I’m assuming whether it’s rejections or wait list it will be on Thursday and Friday
According to last yr’s thread. Acceptance will be released on 28th, waitlists will be on 29th, rejections will be on 30th.

@giallonotte I got a provisional contract too where I need a B in Calc2. I’m currently getting a C right now so have to try my best now. I hope it goes well for you and if it does tell me how it went!
I haven’t heard anything back as of right now, is it safe to assume it’s a waitlist/rejection?
@nepusr Speculation is that the last 2 days are waitlist/rejections. So we still have tomorrow and thursday.
This is so frustrating are they still looking at applications or something? Or is it cause other UC decisions have come out particularly UCLA, so people might say no? I would rather they release all in one day, it’s less disappointing.

@nespur it would appear that way, but we must keep hope alive!! As long as we haven’t heard the word no, we’re still in the game. 
It does seem a bit cruel on the part of UCI if they do that way though. Almost as if they’re intentionally pouring salt in the wound. None of the other UC’s seem to have this issue.

@nepusr Well, just know you’re not alone. There a few of us who were well qualified and are still waiting (with bated breath), so may the force be with us… or something. 
Nah, UCSC has been stringing me along since mid March. UCSB has done the same to others.

Well Irvine does batches and then rejections at the end for freshmen too so…
Anyone know how much emphasis uci, or other uc’s such as ucla, put on major prep gpa vs overall gpa
