Hello, I was also rejected for the second time to UCI, haha. I was wondering whether any of you know if UCI will continue to do the spring admissions for the 2017 spring quarter?
@mrclutch the UC fiscal year ends on June 30, 2016. I’ve heard the spring admissions application depends on what’s in the new year’s budget. Same goes for CSU. I’d check back in July to see if they have made any announcements.
I just declined my offer of admission, so hopefully someone who was waitlisted in this thread–if there were any–gets to pick it up.

When will financial aid be released? mine said early may yesterday, and now it says it will be available shortly.

I already committed to UCLA but it’s may 2nd now and UCI still hasn’t posted a decision on my account… does anyone else have this issue?
So if you call admissions, they can tell you exactly why you were rejected? Just wanted to make sure before I call.
Last week I enailed the admissions counselor via the portal about spring 2017 admission and they said they didn’t know if they would have it or not. Really really hoping they do.

@dankjackson What! I had a 3.1 for History and got waitlisted. Were you missing some pre-req/Out of state?
@uctransfer16 apparently they e-mailed me asking for my transcript from ten years ago, but I never got the e-mail and since I didn’t respond in time they rejected me. Starting to appeal now.
