<p>That’s what got you passed the Math IP @sonic23. My daughter had TAG’d UCSB but her math requirement was IP, so her TAG was ineligible, but they told her as long as any math class is completed (in my daughter’s case non-transferable int algebra) it will keep her in the running. She got in, too. The counselor said they’ve had problems with math so merely want to see that someone can do it on any level. Congrats!</p>

<p>Despite I updated my TAU on Jan 26, the UCSB portal displays that they received my TAU on Mar 18…</p>
<p>Anybody here knows how could this happen? Do they review applications and release the result according to this “info received” sequence??</p>
<p>I wouldn’t worry about that. It just has to do with when they record it, I believe. UCSB said they didn’t get my daughter’s application until Feb, when it had obviously been submitted in Nov.</p>

<p>@tt4ucosbel, I believe that to be how they are doing things, they received my TAU 2/28 and am still pending, was hoping some students could post their TAU received dates to help confirm this.</p>

<p>@bigbd22 Call them and ask. Your comment worries me because I’m a 3.80 CS major who was also denied from Cal Poly SLO. Still pending for UCSB, but at this rate I’m guessing I’ll be denied. </p>

<p>@Ameezus thus I guess they indeed ARE processing our applications based on the TAU received order… Gosh since I got received merely 3 weeks ago I guess I perhaps need to keep on w8ting until the very last day (>_<)
<p>I submitted mine 1/15 but it was received 3/14… what the heck!?</p>
<p>Just to let you know. I got accepted during the first wave and I just checked my portal to see about the TAU stuff. Submitted: January 22nd. Received: February 10th.</p>
