<p>Yeah, I applied to Stanford. I don’t expect I’ll get IN, but I gave it a shot. The other private schools I applied to have okay financial aid, but in order for me to pick them, they’ll have to beat the almost-full rides I’d get from UCSC and UCD…and if I get into Berkeley, I may just tell them “yes” and rescind my private-school applications. I’m not sure, though. It depends on what happens.</p>
<p>Yeah lets hope Berkley gives you a great financial aid package, that would be awesome for you! It would make for an easy decision no doubt. Good luck I hope you get in, keep us posted on what happens buddy, ill be interested in knowing. </p>
<p>P.S. could you imagine what it would be like to apply as an incoming freshman? God they’d have to have like straight 4.5 hs gpa with a crap load of extra curriculars and a whole bunch more… that would be absolutely dreadful</p>

<p>@jnguyen- You could always try calling up there and see if they can give you any notice on your app to Baskin…its worth a try. I think I might call UCSC myself and ask them why the heck I have not received my decision yet!</p>

<p>kinda confusing, but i went to Sonoma State for a year under history and completed most GE then transferred to SBCC for two years and completed a lot of courses but this time under Environmental Studies and applied for fall 2011 to UC’s and got denied to all under a G.P.A. of 2.9 something </p>
<p>but now im at DVC junior college in pleasant hill, ca and am back under HISTORY…got denied from UCSB and Davis but didn’t really care about those, but i have trouble calculating my gpa because i transferred three times so i have no clue what santa cruz is considering haha</p>

I have submitted my SIR to UCLA.
Why has UCSC not released my decision yet?
UCSC should have rejected me by now, since I have SIR’d to another UC already, right?
Ugh, so stressful.
