kb09026, I would be very surprised if Michigan did not give you a good scholarship. There just aren’t that many URMs with 2300+ SAT. This said, you will probably get all the financial aid you require (and then some) from MIT, and MIT is definitely the place to be for aspiring Engineers.

someone got accepted!!
[opens WA]
[types in UM ID]
[nada, disappointment~]

still haven’t heard anything.

sigh…

^^ i haven’t heard anything either. i’m not applying as an engineer major, so i’m not overly concerned that my SAT isn’t perfect (like everyone else’s seem to be). but it’s strong, as is my academic record. i think i should hear this week (tomorrow…because it’s Thursday?) are they still doing that whole midnight-wolverine-access thing? gaaaaaah, so nervous. =)

gah. my sat isnt near perfet ha. i didnt submit it. ACT, yea. i applied for engineering, but now i’m thinkin ehhh. as i scan through the pages, im thinkin that i prolly won’t get in. I guess it’s U of Illinois for me…

Anything can happen. I looked back after I got accepted and as it turns out… I never answered their essays completely, but I guess they were interested enough. I wrote all my essays, no revisions, overnight.

haha same here. i did my application in a matter of like 2 hours.

it’s thursday, you think we’ll hear anything? i’m sooooo nervous!!!

how can you tell you got accepted on wolverine access?? does it say something like “ACCEPTED”?

Once signed in click ‘View Application Status’ & then, if the decision is available, click ‘View Decision’

yeah, still nothing. anyone else get anything? and if you did, when did you apply?

nothing yet, and i applied like december 28.

still… nothing… i applied on the last day XD

i’m really impatient. :</p>

saaaaaaaame here. i wonder if you can sue the Michigan admissions office for causing nervous breakdowns, lol

i was rejected from Ross but accepted to LAS.

I’m not going to waste time with a ton of stats because i don’t believe they’re that important in the long run

i’ll give a few:
ACT:28
GPA:3.96
EC: Many and varied
Ethnicity: Black

i haven’t decided if i’m going to go

dd applied ED, all in at 11/1 deadline…deferred 12/23. She rushed her application due to admissions officer declaring that “if you only take one piece of info from this session, let it be to go early decision rather than Regular”. Now, it seems so many have gotten their RD answers and we have heard nothing. She got the “if you think your first semester senior grades will improve your place in the applicant pool, send them” so we did, because they were excellent…but, they don’t show up on her application stats…I have seen on this board, that if they were not required, we can’t even tell if they’ve received them without a phone call. When will we get an answer?

ddd928 - my son is in the same boat. However, because we are out of state, and oos tuition is so high, I think he’ll pass even if he does get in.

BananaSandwich15. Are you so mad because you didn’t get a pre-acceptance into Ross that you won’t attend Michigan?
