livesforsummer, you should put that on your college app.

1000th poster on the CC Class of 2011 Thread.

It’s hard waking up but I don’t think I could have any less time in the evening, sort of like what Harambee said.

It’s hard waking up but I don’t think I could have any less time in the evening, sort of like what Harambee said.

Haha

Okay, so I was doing community service (volunteering at library) and it sucks, so I only did like 12ish hours?
Is that a really lame amount to put on an app?
I gotta do more, it’s just soo boring.

^ 12? Um, kinda…lol. Maybe you could find more interesting ways to volunteer.

As a side note, the whole concept of counting volunteer hours has always seemed oddly amusing to me. ;p

^lol same. I mean I’ve always wondered… can’t people just make it up on their apps? a bit trivial to me.

I can’t wait for junior year, but I don’t want to do it at the same time haha. My schedule is:

I do community service at the library and at my church, but I plan on doing more by doing private lessons for 7th and 8th graders who can’t afford them at my old middle school to prepare them more for high school band. I also plan on doing an internship either in business or computer science.

And I’d like to join the club of people who became super worried upon reading this thread, haha.
