Official Unofficial Class of '11 Thread

Class of 2011 baby!!! (:
My schedule for junior year:
AP US History
AP Calc AB
Honors American Literature
Physics (Going to change that to Honors)
Spanish III
Environmental Science or AP Psychology

I’ve seen several schedules so far on this thread, and all I have to say is “WOW! Amazing.”

I was gonna work on my SAT Prep over the summer, but it didn’t work out. I’ve probably done about 4 hours of SAT Prep so far.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Just thought I’d spice things up a bit :)

^Lol:) What else is there to talk about? I think we’ve mainly talked about our schedules and what day school starts. Enjoy the rest of your summer everyone!(those who are still on it; I envy you lol)

Ahhh I start on tuesday so I have a little less than a week

I’ve been doing ACT prep all summer and I’m SO sick of it. I have to do a lot of it today and I really don’t want to…

Bump. What’s new 2011ers?

Nothing much…just came home from mentor training for freshman orientation. Made me realize how unprepared for school I am. :/

where the hell have you guys beeeeen

:]

Hey, this is my first post in this thread.
First off, is anyone else feeling really weird that all of a sudden we’re upperclassmen?
I had a couple of sophomores asking me for advice the other day, and I felt really old all of a sudden.
My schedule (We have block scheduling):
A-Day
PreCalc
AP Chem
Jazz Band
Free

B-Day
Spanish IV
English Lit/Advanced Composition (Basically AP English Lang.)
AP Bio
APUSH

I started school two weeks ago. For everyone who’s started already, are you guys dying yet?

Haha, I’m not dying yet:) I might within the next few weeks though:/ It is unusual being one of the older students at the school. I feel old compared to everyone else lol. I already gave what classes I was going to take, but they were alternated.
0 Yoga:)(We’ve been doing nothing but homework so far and I love it:))
1 Spanish 4 honors
2 US history(normal) (This is my relaxing class:) While everyone in the AP class has been writing essays and taking tests everyday, I’m watching movies and not receiving homework:D)
3 Honors Anatomy
4 AP English
Lunch!:)(time to do my math homework…I mean eat lunch lol)
5 APES(It’s a pretty easy class:> I’ve been watching isopods for lab experiments)
6 Trig(ugg…I have math last period again:/)

:) Just ended my second week of school

Schedule:
1 - Art 2D
2 - APUSH
3 - Driver’s Ed
4 - AP Eng Lang + Comp
5 - Teacher’s Assistant (QUESTION: I didn’t ask for this class, but Guidance refuses to let me out of it. Is this going to be looked upon badly for applications? I’d rather be taking Psych :()
6 - Chorus V
7 - Piano I

gabbles incoherently Must. not. go. crazy.

behold the effects of school on the mind! Junior year sucks.

buries head in homework

So my counselor is being a little ***** and won’t talk to me. I’m giving him til Wednesday, then I will raise hell. My major problem is that I got D’s in my math and english class first semester and I couldn’t make them up in summer school. My school can’t afford to have summer school this year. So, how the hell do I make up these classes? I think I’m going to make them up with BYU. My parents still don’t know that I still have both of those classes to make up. So…sucks to be me.

On a lighter note, I had a callback for the role of Hero in Much Ado About Nothing. Cast list goes up on Tuesday. Keeping fingers crossed!

I also just finished my second weeks of school, and I’m ready for summer vacation. :P

Class of '11 is the best! Of course I am biased…

My Schedule is…

1st AP Calculus (AB)

2nd Spanish 3 honors

3rd AP English Language

4th AP Bio

then second semester…

1st AP Calculus (BC if we can get to those chapters)

2nd AP English Lit

3rd Spanish 4 honors

4th AP Bio

I hate block schedule, year long APs… 90 minutes of each.

I hope all of you are doing well. I’m out of the house for around 12 hours on M, T, W, and Th because of prior commitments so I’m busy. I’m in my 2nd week of AP English Lit and we’re read ~7 separate assignments and completed 25 (exactly 25) over-one-page assignments. In APUSH we’ve read 50 pages and completed a crap-load of work too. ;_; But it isn’t too bad. Calculus, Chem, and Bio are really easy though.

^kthnxbye .

lmao, dunbar.

i’m actually doing well in calc. it’s incredible, i’m in shock. it won’t last long. :(

apush is a breeze. the teacher’s so funny and sweet and she goes off topic and it’s awesome.

ap english is the best class i’ve ever had. my teacher’s really weird and amusing, and a genius. :]

^That’s good that your doing well in Calculus:) I hope you enjoy the rest of your year!

I’m doing really good in calc too, and I’m really enjoying it. Which is craaaazy because I was terrified of it. But we’re already in derivatives and it’s one of my favorite classes. Strange. The mind boggles.

BUT I HATE AP BIO.

^AH why would you hate AP Bio? lol It’s so fun!

I’m still procrastinating on summer HW gahh. And apparently according to some seniors I’m going to have 3 tests on the first day of school. Bleh…I already hate junior year :/

^That’s ridiculous:/ Maybe they are just kidding?:)
