Official Unofficial Class of '11 Thread

^Aww sorry:/ You should consider doing yoga.

I knew it. You’re a yoga person. It’s so obvious.

^Well, I was taking it at school until I just recently switched. I wouldn’t define myself as someone who would do it on a daily basis aside from school though haha. I’m just thinking of some ideas for you, that’s all:)

^haha, good thinking. I think some kind of forced-meditation-like-practice would be beneficial for all of us. :)

^I agree:) "forced-meditation-like-practice " (Lol)

We had a college fair at our school yesterday too. I went to get out of class for a little bit, but there wasn’t anything interesting. Mostly all local schools.

^Aww sorry:/ Do they have any other ones coming up?

I definitely think they are going to have others, I’m not sure when though.

O ok, well you can learn about the other schools then:) I think there is one coming up in my area with around 100 colleges. I’m definitely looking into that.

I need upperclassmen advice on which clubs to join.
Also, I need study/etc. technique help.
I can only pull 90s on my APs without studying. (<15 mins)
How do I pull that up to 95+ without more than 30 mins of studying?

cracks knuckles

I smell an UNDERCLASSMAN.

Ewwwww.

gets out the trashcan

This is the college class of 2011 right? My advanced psychology classes are killing me.
HELPPPP.

^You are correct.
I fail to comprehend what’s wrong with 90’s. If you are studying for less than 15 minutes for an AP class, which should give you 2 hours of homework per day, I think that’s awesome. Why can’t you study for more than 15 minutes though?

Wartsandall is giving good advice; there’s nothing wrong with a low 90. In fact, THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A 90 AND A 95 ON YOUR TRANSCRIPT. If you’re only studying 15 minutes, I’d take what you get. It’s still an shiny, nice A. You gotta learn to stop stressing about little things like that.

No its an A- which is around a 3.77.

Oh. Well that sucks. I can get an 89.5% and that would still be an A on my transcript…

^Same:)

Sorry Lawlz, but why are you only studying for 15 minutes though? If you want a higher grade, study longer, or at least more effectively.

That is INSANE.

I think it’s more what the high school does for us. While an 89.5 may be an a- for us, when the colleges calculate it to meet their GPA, they will calculate it according to how Lawlz described it:/

^Feel free to answer my question though. I will post it again if necessary. Unless you are just avoiding it, in which case, o well, I tried haha
