I was thinking about trying the philosophy one, but I’m kind of intimidated.</p>
<p>I’m really really really intimidated. I’m attempting but I’m probably not going to end up submitting, knowing how I fail at finishing anything…</p>

<p>The Davidson projects all seem pretty intimidating…I have to write a new paper for my research project, so I’ll just submit it, but without expecting anything. </p>

<p>Yep. Actually, I’m more afraid of finding the three nominators than anything. That, and the whole actually doing the project thang.</p>
<p>ETA: <em>reads over Davidson nominating requirements</em> That’s it. No way am I letting any of my teachers read my writing portfolio. Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. Not in a million gazillion years. </p>
<p>Guess I’m not submitting to Davidson afterall.</p>
<p>^^ The workload is insaneee. I totally agree with whoever (I think it was Rachael525?) who said making the list of things to do is taking so much time. It’s ridiculous. I feel like every teacher thinks their class is the only one we have work in.

<p>haha yeah, tsubomi1993. I know what you mean; sometimes I’m just like, “oh wait, I have to take several different tests this year that will play a big role in college admissions? And I have to STUDY for them?” :)</p>

<p>LMAO, PSATs are the week after next, aren’t they? I haven’t even looked at the practice booklet they give you, speak less of done any prepping on my own…</p>

When I decided to wean myself off of CC (which is clearly not working very well…) I started hanging out over there a lot. Does wonders for writing motivation.</p>
<p>PSAT studying is not going well. I went down 7 points from last year. <em>sigh</em> Stupid Math and Writing sections.</p>
<p>I just realized how close the PSAT test is!
I better begin to invest more time into my studying.</p>

<p>I know this schedule shouldn’t seem hard but I am stressed out of mymind.
I just started running Cross Country(epic fail at that)
I missed a meet today because i forgot( i know,i know)
I have to write a decent speech for Forensics
I’m developing my project( Science compition) with this professor but I haven’t done enough research
I need to plan for a community project i’m doing on different cultures (graduation project)
And…
I haven’t studied enough for the PSATS
but I guess this is way I want it to be…
I love junior year- after all I like ultra-busyness</p>
<p>I want to go to Columbia/U Chicago and Yale(uber-reach mythical dream)
but yeah…</p>

<p>I’m touring at Middlebury this Saturday! I’m so excited. </p>
<p>And I toured Smith, Mount Holyoke, SUNY New Paltz at the end of the summer. </p>
<p>Many more to come! (Still working on my list of reaches, matches, safeties. As for how the list forms, I think mostly just from finding aspects of schools that I like and then finding other similar institutions). </p>

<p>I swear, I have at least three tests every week. My mental health is so screwed. :(</p>
<p>There was a college fair at my school today, but only schools from the surrounding area (New Mexico, Arizona, Texas) came so it wasn’t that interesting. No Brown, no Lafayette, no Swarthmore, no NYU. Grrrr.</p>
