<p>I got 3 hours of sleep one day last week and was actually more alert and energized during school than I am when I get like, 6 hours. And I didn’t get sleepy till around 10:30pm. Go figure.</p>
<p>Wow, maybe our bodies just work differently? lol, I suppose the amount of sleep needed per individual varies.</p>
<p>somehow i get 8 hours a night. but i dont get much if any downtime during the day. </p>

<p>Haha, it’s probably just because they are all involved in clubs and sports in addition to their 5 or 6 AP classes haha.</p>

<p>We are actually learning about Lit in Lit this year. I hate analyzing everything. There is no f-ing way that authors intended to put as much symbolism in their writing as English teachers would like you to believe. No way.</p>

<p>You might notice that my schedule seems a little short. Well, that’s due to the fact that I was very ill last year and it will take some time before my parents trust that I’m capable of handling a full course load again. Anyway, it’s really not that bad at all…having to repeat junior year, I mean. </p>
<p>Anyway, I have a question for you all. How many of you are passionate about the study of history?</p>
<p>I love history. But there’s not really many opportunities to express passion in history…It’s so much easier to find stuff for science people. Sucks.</p>
<p>That’s fantastic! History is my main passion in life. What’s your favorite era?</p>
<p>Hmm. I keep changing :p. I had an obsession with Tudor England (King Henry and Queen Elizabeth) and medieval times (especially knights and the plague) for a bit when I was younger. And now I really like Georgian England and the American Revolution. I love learning about the Enlightenment as well. And I’ve always been obsessed with Ancient Greece and Rome, and Ancient Egypt and Ancient China is pretty fascinating as well. So I like a wide variety :D</p>
<p>I’m more interested in recent history. I enjoy debating and discussing any events that took place within the 1900s+. A classic debate: Can one justify the dropping of the atomic bombs?</p>
<p>I know this topic was a while back now, but rachael525 I feel the same way about sleep! On Thursday I only got about 3 hours, and I felt totally fine until I went to sleep (late) Friday night. (plus I had the satisfaction of knowing my work was done…finally). Isn’t this weird?
