No BF and not looking. Don’t have the time, don’t got the effort.

4.0 UW… but pretty sure I got 2 Bs this semester.

Top 20. I live in CA so Cal and UCLA are in my reach hopefully.

Sucks. I don’t have THAT much work, but my ECs are sucking my time away.

Gimme an idea.

Took May of Sophomore year… THANK GOD, I don’t have time for that **** now.

Eh, I don’t really care. I guess it’s good to be upperclassmen but for me it’s just like, yay, a year closer to college lol.

ROFLMAO. I SUCK at driving. Like, not even kidding. I’ve had my permit since August… should be able to get license in Feb. but seriously, I suck. Still have 2 behind the wheels left… But if I didn’t already say anything, I SUCK. I can’t get past the Asian / woman stereotype.

hello (:

Not really interested in dating anyone in my grade haha

3.86, probably going to drop drastically this semester…

Columbia, Brown, UPenn… parents pushing for UPenn…

Not bad… gotten a lot fatter though due to a lack of P.E. and studying stress XD

Er… stop procrastinating?

January T________T

Well, on one hand, it’s pretty awesome just cause you’ve got more interesting class choices, and you’re officially an “upperclassmen,” but on the other hand, it means you only have one year left of high school, and it’s kind of depressing and daunting to think about college apps and the future :(

I wish :(

@nil- yes, 'tis exciting =). Nice break from studying as well

1- haha
2. 3.77 UW
3. Honestly I think I’ll have enough trouble getting into college with the “10%” rule here. So I’m aiming relatively low (MSU, TSU, SFA, TAM, etc.)
4. Yep
5. I want to start working out again…and yes believe me that’s pretty out of character 8)
6. January/May/October… it would have killed my app to take it in sophmore yr, so even though it’s a bit late I’m glad I’m waiting
7.Pretty good, not as insane as I had pictured it to be. Maybe I’m actually prepared for it by now??
8 . Oh yeah… driving. Knew there was somthing I was forgetting with all this stuff on my plate;)

Nope. No reason to date people with the bodies of men and the minds of boys. I’ll wait until I can date a guy with a little bit of AMBITION and a whole lot of self-control. (This statement sounds a little man-hating in retrospect; I realize there are plenty of mature high school boys, but not where I live.)

4.0 UW and 4.406 weighted, but I haven’t gotten my grades for this semester. Probably will end up a 4.55 weighted this time.

I’m going to apply to Yale, Brown, Cornell, Dartmouth, and Georgetown; however, since I’m too rich to get financial aid and too poor to pay $200,000 for undergrad, I’ll probably just aim for a full scholarship to UGA. The honors program there is surprisingly selective with an average combined math/CR SAT score of 1463. Additionally, they offer a PhD program in Romance Languages! Mah faaaaavorite!!! :)

It hasn’t been as hard as I envisioned, just frustrating. I never can predict my test scores in AP Physics and AP Calc BC. In Physics I got an B, A (104!), C, and a D on my four tests (in that order…guess who slacked off near the end). I am fortunate to have an A. I had a 96 until the last test…then I had to study like a fiend for the midterm. Ah, if only the internet had never been invented! Haha, I don’t really mean that.

I resolve to try working hard before I realize that I’m close to a B! No more cramming before a final because all of a sudden I have an 89. If I had a dollar for every time I scraped by with a 90 in a relatively easy class…

I’m taking them for a second time around February and maybe one more in Spring or Fall.

Tiring. Hard and boring all at once. I’m starting to realize that it doesn’t matter how smart we are if we have no work ethic.

Nope. I can’t drive due to eye problems…sucks.

EDIT: It’s funny to see all these parents pushing their kids into the Ivy League…If anything my parents are actively campaigning against it. My parents actually are trying to convince me not to apply to TASP and instead get a job at McDonald’s.

1-nope. ask me in a month or two and the answer will be different…
2. my school does it out of 100… so 96 (no weighting)
3. williams, middlebury, maybe harvard/yale, brown PLME, u roch REMS, some other combined bs/md’s, and rutgers & tcnj
4. pretty good i guess…
5. hm… im open to ideas
6. december 5, 2009. got em back today. 2330!!!
7. i feel old.
8. driving on snow is interesting. haven’t crashed though! and license soon!

Have you met high school students? No thank you. 0.o

3.65ish

UChicago, MIT, NCSU, UNC, Cooper Union. I think I’ll get into 2 of those lol

Junior year has been stressful with a bunch of busy work

Well, I’m going to send personalized, intimate, letters to 4 friends before new years

Sometimes later XD

It’s kind of scary to realize how soon we’ll be off to college
8 I drive every day to school, to college, and then back. A lot of weirdos out there

I like reading other people’s senior schedules.

but you’re a high school student, and i’m sure you’re lovely!

also i don’t feel like answering every question… so i’ll just answer 7.
being a junior feels awesome.

1- Never really had a boyfriend… Told my best friend I liked him a couple of weeks ago, but that didn’t really go over well
2. 3.6UW, 4.1W, but it’s going to go up this semester.
3. I’m DYING to go to Northwestern, but it’s definitely a long shot for me
4. Academically, sure. Socially…There have been a few drawbacks.
5. Not visit the ER in 2010
6. Retaking probably May?
7. Ugh. Let’s get it over with already.
8. I drive whenever I can… Don’t have a car because I don’t have my license, But I’ve had my permit for 2 years. As soon as I finish DriveEd, though, I’m getting that little piece of plastic.

looking at making my senior schedule now…how does this look?

8 periods

phys ed/health
honors calculus
AP biology/honors anatomy & physiology / Honors forensics (pick 1)
SUPA English or Honors Humanities
AP Psych
Advanced Film Production
Film Studies
Study Hall

havent had “official” one since middle school :p

3.652uw 4.305w

HYPS (lol) and UC’s

its been hell :)

i plan to go to a party…with people i dont know

idk yet. most likely march/june then october. depends on my scores.

it feel good, finally being able to be independent

i get my license jan 28
but im a pretty good driver

Skipping around with these questions:

Nope.

Don’t know, we don’t see any grades until the end of the year.

Junior year has been so much crazier and busier than I ever could have imagined, but I love it!

I guess this has turned into more of a resolution thing, so I would definitely like to keep in touch with more people who I’ve lost contact with.

January. Ahh! I’m so nervous. I did considerably worse than I expected/desired on the PSAT, so I’m hoping to get that SAT score up. But we’ll see.

It’s finally hitting me how time is speeding up. Freshman/Sophomore year seems like last week. Soon we’ll be seniors, and then in College. Crazy stuff.

Just got my permit! Can’t wait to start driving, although I’m a little scared. But it will definitely be nice to not be so dependent on rides.

^^ I like when this thread becomes more discussion based. We have the rest of CC to debate our schedules and discuss 2300s.

Hope you all have a wonderful holiday break!

No

I haven’t found out what my junior year grades are.

I’ll probably apply to UC’s and some schools on the east coast.

I’m content with it:)

I haven’t decided yet. I’m open to suggestions.

My intent is to take it in March.

I feel old:/

I have the opportunity to get my license in January, despite the fact that I’ve been enabled to receive it since January of this year.

It’s ALMOST CHRISTMAS!!!

gah, won’t let me post in all caps :(

I don’t have a boyfriend. I don’t like any of the guys at my school, so I’m single.

UW: 3.89, W: 4.23

Purdue, Central Michigan. My family would really like Purdue since my father went there and a couple of my cousins did. Plus, it’s only an hour and a half away, and I’d really like to be in the Pharmaceutical Sciences program of hell there. And by Pharmaceutical Sciences, I mean a 4-year bachelors degree for research, not the 6-year PharmD.

It’s been harder than I ever would imagine.

Umm, I’ll get back to you on that.

March then probably something like July or September.

Amazing. But graduation can’t come soon enough!

Yes, I drive. I have a 1998 Delta 88 Oldsmobile. I named her Agnes because that’s an awesome old lady kind of name. She was my grandparents’ before mine, but they can’t drive anymore. Some lady backed into her a couple of weeks ago, and I just picked her up from the shop the day before Christmas Eve.

Did everyone have a good Christmas full of good food and good presents?

BF. Been dating since last January (minus a month-long tiff). He’s my debate partner, lol, and he’s a senyah.

4.0 UW slash ask me again at the end of the year. It will not be a 4.0, I imagine.

Princeton, Dartmouth, Columbia, Duke, UChic, UNC (good writing program)

People keep b*tching about it, but it’s not too bad. Other than chem. I finally have a good big group of friends and then little groups of girlfriends so all is well.

Well. I’ll come home three minutes after curfew again, that was a fun time with the rents.

MARCH. WHY ARE WE USING CAPS? HOPEFULLY I WON’T HAVE TO TAKE IT AGAIN, AND THEN I’M ACT-ING IT IN APRIL.
7.BALLING. SLASH I’M RUNNING OUT OF TIME TO BE AMAZING.

Well. Let me put it this way. One of my Christmas gifts was a set of car magnets…three giant bandaids and a sign that says “Ouch.”

my christmas presents were a green necklace and earrings my dad chose for me, a 25$ gift to my fav. store Barnes & Nobles and a bangle. My rents also bought me a mini-lantern so I could study in the car at night. We spent all night watching THe Slum Dog Millionaire- so sweet! and i didn’t really wake up until 5 p.m. Family- you gotta love them.
Also, don’t feel obligated to answer every one of the questions.

^Slumdog Millionaire is one of the best movies I’ve ever watched.

^I think I’m gonna finally get around to watching it right now. Thanks ^_^

1- I broke up last fall, and I haven’t been in a relationship since. It’s kinda hard to get in one too since I go to a Catholic all boys school <_< But right now I just have to focus in getting into a solid college.
2. I’m ashamed… lol weighted 3.78. I don’t wanna tell you my unweighted.
3. I really like University of San Diego. USC would be good too. But USD would be more realistic.
4. Nahh Junior year sucks
5. Lets all eat bananas from now on… yeah I’m definitely not doing that. But feel free to do it.
6. Already took em in Nov. I got a 1720 smh, I’ll get it up though no worries.
7. Too much pressure, too much work, but it feels good that I’ll be in college soon.
8 . nope… no driving until I’m committed to a college, silly parents

i’m taking AP comparative politics and government
and AP chinese
i dropped AP calculus so i’m taking advanced math

im taking regular physics now and i have a choice of AP physics and AP biology next year (for my senior year)
i hate physics but the teacher’s fine and the bio teacher is terrible
since i’ll already have 3 credits of science by next year, do you think i should take another science course?
i won’t major in a science field…
