And whats the point of takingall these science courses if you don’t want to major in a science. Ah,you must be a <em>■■■■■</em></p>
<p>Ah, crap. My granfather fell yesterday, and we figured that he’d be feeling better by the end of the day. But he wasn’t, so we called an ambulance so he could go to the hospital. And, basically, we thought he broke his hip, but he fractured the hip socket instead and needs 2-3 months in the hospital. And the worst part? I don’t think anyone told him yet, since he told my grandma not to visit him today cuz he’ll be home tomorrow or Wednesday. Awesome. >.<</p>
<p>I offer my condolences. thats horrible. Try not to be around when your family tells him.</p>

<li><p>It hasn’t been bad. Work has been actually easier and I’ve been getting better grades, but now I’m going to be uber busy for the next few months.</p></li>

Yeah, I understand what you mean. My grades aren’t really as horrible this year as last year. but there’s a success /fail column in my bedroom. Guess who’s winning?</p>

<p>So, I have a question that I’m really interested to know: How far away are the colleges that you’re looking at from your home? Because everyone I talk to here (I’m near Tampa) is looking at college less than fifty miles away, while I’m looking to go all the way across the freaking country. Do people generally want to stay near home? 
I don’t get it.</p>
<p>I’ll probably apply to UC’s and schools on the east coast. I live in California so some of the schools that I’ll probably apply to will not all be in close proximity. I enjoy small class sizes, which isn’t something that the UC’s typically offer.</p>
