Can anyone tell me how long it should take USConnect to update my required admission documents. I just had my school send my transcript in to USC and it was processed on Monday. How long should I wait for my application status to change to “we no longer require additional documents” or whatever?

@hoobucs720

after looking through last years thread, some accepted peoples statuses never even changed. for me, it took about 2 months for it to change to “we no longer require additional documents”

i dont know why they dont require my winter grade yet. it still says there is none i need to submit.
(i am a transferring student from community college as a junior, and i m taking one more course spring quarter)

this wait is killing me. HURRY UP USC!!

Hey, just wondering, how many credits do Junior transfers need? Like how they say Sophomores should have over 30, what do they want from Juniors?

Hi everyone, junior transfer applicant here. Applied to Annenberg as a Communication major. I’ve been reading this thread and threads from the few past years for a while, and finally decided to speak up!

Just a quick question: Am I only supposed to send in winter grades if they are requested? I guess I would prefer sending them in because I got close to a 4.0 last quarter and I can only imagine it helping my app…

@teddygrams - I don’t think USC requires a minimum number of units to transfer. It says in the transfer catalogue that those who have earned fewer than 30 semester units will be evaluated based on their high school grades and SAT/ACT scores. I would assume that they prefer ~60 units though.

@teddygrams

you need 64 units to be considered a junior

Hello,
I’m an international transfer and I can’t upload my TOEFL, it gets uploaded and then two days after it disappear again. I can’t call them either it’s like 20 mins wait time! What to do?

@bearterritory3 so I will have completed 63 credits by the end of the spring semester, and i’m still considered as sophomore transfer?

@nicopdx
This doesn’t seem to be something the collegeconfidential community can really control or fix yet I could be wrong. However I do believe that the 20 minutes of wait time is most certainly worth it as it ensures your application is completed to its fullest and admissions can make a better decision because of it.

@nicopdx you need to ask ets to send your toefl test to usc directly. login on your tofel account in the ets website and send scores.

I know the latest decisions come out by June 1st, but when does the earliest decisions come out for transfers?

@ctran10: Well the majority of freshman applicants heard back pretty much on and around the notification date (late March, the 27th?), so maybe some time close to June 1st?

sadfaceeee :(

June seems milennia away!

Letters for SGRs are supposed to come out next week. Last year decisions came out late april

Hey! (First Post)
I’m a sophomore transfer applicant. Applied to SCA production.

Well, USConnect still needs more information from me… Seems like there’s a few of us with similar status. I’m not too worried, it will sort itself out eventually.

seriously hope I don’t get a spring grade request. Waiting until July sounds rather unpleasant. I’m taking the required english composition class this semester, so that might do me in. Though, they could just look at my 4.0 GPA and see that chances are pretty good I’m going to pass it.

im in the same boat as you smalone3d. Are you a sophomore applicant? Because if you are they’ll look at your high school grades and maybe just give you a mulligan on having the English IP. That’s what I’m hoping for since I took honors/AP english courses throughout high school.

yeah july is pretty late. i know schools that the deadline was after USC and their gonna hear back in may. can u imagine if this is ur first pick school and u have back up schools but ur waiting till july to get it but many of these other universities require that u respond in like may, june the latest. smh!
