Totally feel you guys. It’s wearing me down thinking about it constantly. Im just assuming that I am going to get an SGR, so doing good this semester is clutch in whether I get in or not.
Good Luck to you all!

@Ngarcia: Apparently the majority of people heard back last year in late April. Since the CommonApp has created a significantly increased applicant pool, everything that has traditionally happened at one point in time is being pushed forward (it seems by about two weeks). So maybe pit the majority of decisions to come out in early May?

No one is home so I have no idea if anything from USC came in the mail…but it’s kind of making me nervous! My dad already paid the deposit for housing at my current university, or else I would be screwed if I didn’t get into USC and needed to find a place to live. Man, I’m almost just losing faith in hearing back. By the time I hear I back, I feel like I’ll lose my drive to go there…

I’m also wondering about this… I dropped my foreign language class and added another class after I applied, cutting 2 units from my overall schedule. There’s no W on my transcript, so I’m hoping that this won’t affect my application…

Has anybody actually gotten a Spring Grade Request yet?? It seems like some people are just getting Winter Grade Requests so far, who are only on the quarter system. Maybe USC goes over them like that on purpose (quarter system/people who would need to submit Winter grades first, then people who would need SGR’s, then people who wouldn’t need anything further).

Hello, everyone! My name is Stephen and I transferred to USC in the Fall of 2011. One year ago, I was just like you on CC full of questions and anxiety about my admission to USC. During my experience, I created a Facebook group page solely for 2011 Transfer students. The page has been an immense success and has become a family of over 300 transfer students! Now that I am at USC, I am the Social Media Director for the Trojan Transfer Organization, which is a newly revitalized student organization that is geared toward easing the transition for incoming transfer students! We offer support, guidance, and a “safe place” for ALL of you. Thus, I would like to urge you all join my newly created Facebook group page for the Fall 2012-Spring 2013 USC Transfer students!

I want all of you to know that there are many resources geared toward assisting transfer students, including the Trojan Transfer Organization that I mentioned earlier. We all want to help you in your transition! I look forward to “seeing” you all on the Facebook group, and more so, actually seeing you all on campus very soon! FIGHT ON!
