I hear that USC is generally very generous with financial aid, depending on various factors such as your parent’s income, assets, etc. There’s a need-based aid calculator based on tax information here:</p>

<p>omgosh!!! thank you thank you everyone!! (hopefully it really does mean i’m in though :D) maybe this is the beginning of an influx of more acceptances for everyone :)</p>
<p>i applied for the dental hygiene/dds pathway program…so my major for undergrad would be dental hygiene. i believe it shoulddd be considered a biological science but not completely sure on that.</p>
<p>also, met almost all the prerequisite requirements/GE requirements save a few–and there were a lottt. i believe i had 60+ units going in, although im not sure if all will be transferable.</p>
<p>my overall gpa is 3.3ish to 3.4ish depending on how they calculate my UC gpa + cc gpas together. see, there is hope for us sub 3.7 gpas!</p>
<p>really hoping this isnt just a fluke lol, but i hope to be seeeing more good news coming everyone elses way! :D</p>

lol sub 3.7 gpas. that’s cute how u put that. Where on usconnect did u see the two boxes enrollment commitment deposit and rsvp for admitted student programs? I really hope u got in! congrats if u did. Its good to hear some kind of hope on this forum right now. haha</p>
<p>its under the admission tab where youd usually find the check application status box. i was like something looks different about this… haha. and thank you!!! hopefully i reaalllyy did get in! i think the admission process is different for this program since i also had to interview. though at the interview about a week ago they said itd take 2-3 weeks for a response. thats why im still kinda iffy about it all lol.</p>

<p>thank youuu! its a brand new program they have where you get a BS degree in dental hygiene (2 years in addition to completing prereqs/GEs). pending you get a least a 3.0 and letters of rec, etc you get a spot in the dental school and earn your DDS degree. you can find more info here! <p>@ ScGal12 im transferring from ucsb. and i got a good mix of a’s, b’s, even some c’s. and it should take me 2 years to get my bachelors, assuming all goes as planned 
the way the program is designed is that id be entering in my junior year.</p>
