hey guys, do you guys know when the due date is? is the feb 1 by 11:59pm? or midnight jan 31?

You probably exceeded the max characters allowed. Revise and make sure your answer isn’t truncated. The PDF preview is what colleges see.

@jumbo

Feb 1 11:59 PM but I would not wait until last minute. You might experience an overload. Plus, I’m not positive on the time zones having an effect either.

Just submitted my Common App and my Supplement! The nerves are on. Now just gotta finish the CSS PROFILE + FAFSA.

Fingers crossed for us all! Animation & Digital Arts hopeful here.

Also: anybody else unable to receive a password for USConnect? I just submitted my app about an hour ago, will I not be able to get logged in until tomorrow you think?

@smalone

You can create an USConnect account but you will not be able to have access to any materials. I think you have to wait for USC to download your CA before you can log onto USConnect. I’m guessing you’ll most likely receive an email with instructions on how to log on. [I submitted my app this morning but have yet to receive any confirmation besides the CA emails].

@mitch yes you were right. I over wrote lol thanks

hey guys, on the common app, do we have to put in ALL the institutions that we attended or the school that we have the most units at? How do we put in our grades? what about the test scores? do we just skip for that transfers?

@jumbo - You have to put all the colleges you attended. You don’t need to self report your grades, I believe (as transfers).

You also do not need to report your test scores, but you can if you’d like.

I asked earlier, but seems like no one knows. I’ll try again :p

For the section that asks for our “Current Year Courses”, what do we put for next quarter (my school is on a quarter system) if we don’t know what classes we are taking that? Just leave it blank? Or write “undecided” in it?

@smalone
It took about a day for me to be in the system and get a password. :] You’ll get it soon.

Anyone else send there HS transcript but it’s not showing they got it? Could it be because I didn’t have my student ID on the transcript?

@Redwings

I would put undecided. Or estimates.

@kagw11

Thanks! I think that’s what I’ll do. I doubt it will be a deal breaker.

And as for your high school transcripts, I’d figure they are still sorting your file and getting it together. I wouldn’t worry about it. If you’re really stressing about it, give them a call tomorrow. I didn’t put my Common App ID on any of my forms, and I’m pretty sure that does slow things down. But they will figure it out :)

@Redwings

Also Do you know if your Fasfa and CSS show up as received?

I was shocked by the transfer Stats found on McCombs (UT-Austin) website.
International Applicants 2007 2008 2009 2010 2011
Applications 211 271 271 285 285
Admitted 31 13 13 17 26
Enrolled 20 10 12 12 17
Avg. GPA (Admits) 3.88 3.93 3.89 3.92 3.95
Any comment?

Is the app deadline at 11:59 on the 31st or 11:59 on the 1st? I’m a little behind on my app but I’m doing my best to get it done!

And if we can’t send the professor evaluation in time, is there a location we can send it to if we deliver it in person? In addition is there a phone number I can call to confirm this location? Is this even necessary at all? And will sending my hs transcipts and college transcripts late as a jc hurt my chances at receiving full financial aid?

Hey all,

Just have a few clarifications to make. Are any school forms required for transfer students? I apologize if this has already been asked/answered.

Anyone else transferring as an English major? Curious how difficult it is to transfer

I was wondering… do we need to submit our transfer transcripts to usc postmarked feb 1? that’s all they want from us right? or do we send them in later…

Jumbo- make sure it is postmarked by Feb 1st

how long was everyones short answer on the supplement about our majors?

I put a lengthy ish paragraph, not too long

Mine was also a nice size paragraph.
