^ yeah I noticed that as well. I’d like to think that the applicant pool is smaller, but I know that’s not the case. Haha my status just says they’ve processed my application and supplement and are waiting on further documents.

Now all we can do is keep our grades up until we get the decision.

Please, stay safe everyone.

Whew. Just checked my USConnect and they processed everything but my high school and community college transcript. They told me to call back on Friday if everything isn’t in by then.

@Dj: Haha, that’s good to hear! I know you were concerned about your transcripts. Told you everything would work out :).

I’m waiting for my USConnect to update with my application. Then, I wait. -_-

bump. Does anyone know if it’s 30 semester units after Spring quarter/semester or 30 semester units when you submit the app? Because I’m very close to 29/30 not including Ap scores =(

I just submitted my app and it says submitted on 2/2/2012? Am I okay?

^Yes, it’s based on Eastern Standard Time, which is why it’s saying Feb 2nd.

Does that mean I passed the deadline for USC?!

hahah i just submitted it as well… procrastinators unite tomorrow!!!
but on the side note… it is okay that it says 2/2/2012 right…?

i just made a common app account out of curiousity and USC does not have that warning on their payments section. im guessing certain colleges can choose to not accept applications until payments have been received and USC is not one of them

@kagw11 Well if you have a D or better they should transfer

gousc, mechancialengine, it says 2/2/11 on the side of mine too!!! are we okay? i mean on the usc website it says 11:59PM pacific time!

Just received a letter from USC. Though it said nothing but “Thank you for submitting your application for admission …evaluation process takes time…look forward to working with you…”, it feels good to receive something from USC at this time. By the way, since the transfer merit scholarship will be notified by April 1, 2012, I have every reason to believe that the first wave of decisions will be released by April 1. Good luck to every one!

I submitted the application at about 10:00pm, using my credit card.
Now I am worried about the issue that it’s going to take 1-2 days to process the transaction. Anyone in the same boat?

And everyone, the deadline is based on Pacific time I believe

About the credit card, as long as you paid BEFORE MIDNIGHT, you don’t need to worry about anything! So what it takes 1-2 days, USC won’t even look at our apps until March

Yeah, ScGal12 is correct. Think how ridiculous it would be if they counted the 1-2 days processing time. Trust me, they don’t. If that was the case, everyone who submits their application on the last day and pays via credit/debt card would be late. So don’t worry, you’re fine.

Oh, that’s such a good news for me!
Thank you guys letting me know!

I’m going to submit my app soon. I’m wondering can the supplement essay be the same essay from the application writing part since they’re nearly alike? Or should I tweak it a little to make them a bit different?
