@redwings532: At least 2 weeks. I’m guessing since they have a bombardment of docs right now, probably a little more.

I told my community college to send in my transcripts, but whenever I look in USC admission documents, it says not yet received? Is it because they haven’t updated it or what? I’m really scared, I requested my transcript to be sent like 2 weeks ago.

It’s most likely due to what @lullabies said. They’re inundated with documents and the system hasn’t updated yet. I wouldn’t worry. Wait until the end of next week before panicking.

For some if you were lucky to have talked to someone pleasant, they would have told you “We have X,Y, and Z even though it is not reflected in the portal.” Others, like me, were told to wait until the end of next week because the system has updated yet. Just wait it out. No big deal.

What about the supplement pdf? Are they referring to the USC supplement because I already sent that in online, but they haven’t received that either :(

@aisl09

Don’t worry about. It’s saying the same for me. I guess the one good thing that came out of my phone call was that USC had received everything besides my transcript. (USconnect is showing I am missing the Supplement PDF as well). Honestly, as I’ve said I wouldn’t worry. Let things fall in place. Give it some time. After next week if they haven’t updated then I would call and start making arrangements to resend documents but right now I wouldn’t worry.

@MitchAPalooza Thanks for reassuring me. Hope we both get in! Good luck!

ahhh i just checked the status of my application and it said they receive my common app but not my supplement. So I checked the commonapp website and it said i didnt submit it!!! I DIDNT KNOW the app and supplement is submitted separately!!! Now, it’s late [:(] Do you think that will affect my admission?

^Honestly, I would just get it in as soon as possible. I think because you got the Common App in on time, it won’t affect you too much. But it’s kinda difficult to say :

I asked last page but how will it affect me if CSS submitted today? I saw it said “priority filing deadline” was yesterday. Would my financial aid be devastatedly affected?

Call the financial aid office … they know more than us. But I think you wont get the full amount since you didnt do it by priority deadline.

That’s not true at all. If you call them they don’t really care if it’s a day or two late. In fact they told sent me an email with the written paper copy of the CSS and said it would be fine if it was a day late. (this was in order to do the CSS for free)

Hey guys,

I’m taking two classes at my current college this semester that are required for transfer, specifically the math requirement and the freshmen English composition course. Since my passage of these courses is a requirement to get admitted, is it fair to say I should expect a Spring Grade Request? To put it in context, I’ve got a 4.0 so far and I’m reasonably certain that I will pass these classes.

Hi guys, When I check my admission documents, it shows like this.

Required
Documents and information you need to submit
Secondary School Report

- Academic History
- Activity Summary
- Additional Info
- Common App ID Page
- Common Application
- Essay
- Family Information
- School Official Info
- Short Answers

- UG Online App Status

- Viterbi Engr Essay

I can’t find the “college transcript” anywhere… then, how can I check whether they received my college transcript? I think there is something wrong with my documents status, isn’t it? Help plz!

^ I wouldn’t read into so much right now. My status is very similar to yours and I called last week, said that they were still processing etc., and to not worry. Admin I’m sure has gotten bombarded with applications so I’m sure their still trying to sort out. I’d wait until about midway through next week, and if you still don’t see a change, give them a call.

So I’ve heard that USC sends admissions where its like We can’t give you admission for the 2012-2013 school year, but we can for the 2013-2014 school year. Has anyone else heard of that?

Yumenonaka, just call them

Hey Mike! I also got the same problem that my password request failed. I’m hoping others have some insight as to this situation.

@antmar

I was finally able to request my password for USConnect, it just takes awhile for them to process your your application, etc.

Everything has been received except my AP scores, LOR, secondary transcripts, and college transcripts. I sent these in ahead of my app so I’m assuming that they are still processing. If they aren’t in by Monday I’ll just give them a call.

Did anyone else send in materials before the submitted their app?

Hey guys just received a letter from USC. Nothing terribly exciting, just thanking me for applying to USC and telling me they’ll begin reviewing my application immediately. Some other information, but nothing I didn’t already know. Haha just thought that was kind of cool, and figured I’d share.
