When I look at all the documents they have listed, they only have ones from High School + the Common App. I sent my College transcripts in about a month ago…but it doesn’t even show that my transcript is missing. It says I have all the documents but there’s no mention of my CC transcript

I’m worried that maybe I didn’t apply as a transfer…even though my common app said that I was one

Don’t worry. They are getting a ton of applications, so it’s probably taking a bit of time to get documents sorted. I’d give them a call on Monday to be on the safe side though :)

Is anyone here not claimed as a dependent on their parent’s tax return. Like my sister claims me on her tax return, but the school is asking for my parent’s. Anybody know which tax info I should use? Do you think this will hurt my financial aid because my sister makes A LOT more than my parents, but I’ve always used my parents tax info.

I’m really scared about if they received my transcripts on time. My college has no record of sending them out. I called USC today and they said to call a week later. :(

@aisle09:
Yeah they emailed me that I need to send in my community college transcripts too even though I only really went there for dual enrollment in high school and being an transient student over the summer. I would think you wouldn’t have to since I already gave those community college transcripts to my university. But I just went into my account and e-mailed them my unofficial transcripts to them.

But the weird thing is I got an email saying that they didn’t get one of my supplement essays from common app even though I went on my common app account to see if I uploaded it correctly and it was still there with the common app watermark. So i don’t know whats going on…

I haven’t received an email from them asking for anything, but the document manager says I need to submit the community college transcript since I’m attending one now. I guess all we can do is wait it out. :(

I sent in my transcripts 3 weeks ago via registered mail from
Singapore. The ‘tracking’ service shows that it has been stuck at the LA sort facility since the 31st of January. I don’t know if I can trust that thing but my transcripts still hasn’t shown up on my document manager as well.

I am starting to get really distressed. The postal service at both ends have been nothing but patronising and can’t seem to tell me if my package has been delivered or why it has been stuck at the sort facility for 2 weeks.

Do they really notify you regarding your missing documents? Cos I read it somewhere yesterday and it seems like a few people got that email here as well. Plus my application status still says that they haven’t received my common app even though I have received the confirmation email. Anyone else has that?

@Cminor:
Yeah I got an email from USC Cinematic Arts telling me that I was missing stuff but that’s only because there is other supplements that I have to send aside from the application like letters or recommendation and stuff. But I also receive one from USC admissions because I had a dilemma where one of my essays was uploading but showing a lot of boxes and question marks so I was trying to ask them what I should do and if I need to send it to another person. As for your Common App go to the my colleges tab and make sure it has a green arrow beside it. that means that everything was sent through for sure because I had a similar situation where i sent my supplement in but I didn’t send off my main application.

But I would also try calling USC or emailing them. They responded pretty fast to my e-mail so I would try that. Hope that helped! :)

@Cminor I wouldn’t worry too much. They have applications and transcripts all over the place so it’s just taking time to process. I hand delivered my transcripts and it still says that they are missing online. As long as you have proof that you sent your transcripts before February 1st you are completely fine. If it’s bugging you throughout the week I would definitely give a call before the weekend. Admissions is pretty stressed too so you MIGHT not get a comforting response -__- Goodluck!

Is anyone else convincing themselves that all decisions will be released June 1st so that you aren’t disappointed when you don’t receive any letters during April-May? .__.

Emailed School of Cinematic Arts telling them that Admissions told me that they have received my letters of recommendation, and that they should have it too. I also attached the letters to that email too just in case. Sent that email literally half an hour after they emailed me saying I am missing my 3 LoRs, and still no response 5 days later. And the deadline for the materials is this friday. And I can’t call them because the email says “You can’t reach us by phone, here’s an email that will take 2-3 days to respond.”
