Official USC 2013 Transfer Thread

They do want to know you can excel in your intended major I’m sure.

@kin1662 I don’t mind sharing my stats, but to be honest I am in kind of a unique situation, so my SGR might not be indicative of what other’s decisions might be.

I am an econ major transferring from a California Community College, but a decent portion of my units have been from nontransferable remedial math courses. So because of this I don’t technically have enough units from my cc to be considered a junior transfer. I was actually counting on my AP scores (total of 8 tests all 4s and 5s) to fill in the rest of the units that I needed. With that said, my GPA at my cc is around 3.8, but my transferable GPA (basing this off my UC gpa) is around 3.7.

@Transfer2OI3 Exactly , why not?! Lol you gotta take a stab at it and see what happens!

@tomred surely ! but bro look at it this way, you came this far already might as well push a little more to be sure =] its one thing to get rejected even with all the effort you put in its another when you didn’t and you end up regretting… just some advice to hopefully boost your motivation =] FIGHTING!

@alaintran LMAO RIGHT ? but then supposedly Emory takes a considerable amount of consideration for students who have lots of interest in the school (so I’ve heard). Only regret is I didn’t put in my all to the application, just believing that a set of numbers would guarantee my spot.

Oh by all means I’m going crazy to get all A’s. Lol but you never can tell about some professors lol.

Somebody who has gotten a SGR, go see if you can access Oasis… Lol I wanna know.

How do you guys log into Oasis? Do you use the same passcode as USC Connect?

It’s your app number on your status check page. Then password is six digit birthday

I can also now access Oasis, but I have yet to receive a SGR. So it probably means nothing.

This means you are just accepted without a SGR lol. Congrats

I don’t think accessing Oasis means anything, though. One or two individuals were able to access it earlier this year. And someone had access to it because they were rejected last year.

OKAY DON’T FWACK WITH ME ! I just logged in no SGR this doesn’t mean we’re really accepted does it ?

I changed my oasis password … hopefully USC won’t mind … OH GOD :(:(:(:frowning: sorry sorry sorry

The bday password doesn’t work for me! :/

just do your USC ID then the 6 dig birthday for pass may 1st 2013 050113

@alaintran you sure ? it dont work ?

@Transfer2OI3 Nevermind it worked! It requested for me to change my password and I’m now logged on to it.

I know I had to change mine too. Lol hope that’s not bad.

If everyone can access this and others had that had been rejected could… Than this is probably nothing

Oasis access means nothing. I had it last year and got rejected. Some had access and got accepted, vica verca. So don’t worry about it. :P

Yeah, I honestly don’t think it means anything… Yet!
